Clocked 4k km on my vstrom. I'm getting 39-41 KMPL in highway. I maintain 70-85 km/hr. In city traffic you can easily get 35-38 KMPL. Best bike for this price, they could have improved the instruments cluster and headlight throw, apart from this I dont have any complaints.
I add some here. Mainly longer suspension front n rear not possible if they provide rear also longer it increase height.. so rear I expect Xpulse like suspension..at rear.. n secondly Fresh headlight n tail light design we don't want gixxer flavour... 3rd New Tft ktm like instrument is mandatory because itsc250.machine people ready to pay extra . 4th braking shoul be improve like KTM THEN I READYBTO BUT ON EMI ON 2025

Nice long-term review, buddy. Please note that the speedo has a 10% error. Which means when you're doing a speedo indicated 100 kph, you're doing a true speed of 90 kph.
Definitely bro, honestly saying initially I myself had the fear that this is a tall bike, how i will handle in traffic n different situation. But bro now its been 1.2 year n 25000KM +. Now i am like 200% confident n i can take it to whatever road condition you can challenge me. So the point is it’s all in mind: the fear of managing a tall bike. Once you develop the habit n skill gradually you are gonna kill it. I hope this gives you enough clarity.
Honda CB 350 is better, my friend is having cb350 n i have ridden it in both city n highway. I find it more comfortable in city even in highway also it is more comfortable than vstorm.
05:19 When you do actual Off-roading then you don't sit-upon on the seat, you do saddling .... V-Strome is a very capable off-road bike but it is not hardcore off-roading bike. If you really want a hardcore offroad bile then go for Kawasaki KLX 230 which is having spoke wheel. Rode 49,000+ km in two years never experienced left-side pulling, your bike must have some problem, try to change the cone set or T bar.
Yeah bro. I do agree Vstorm is a very capable bike. For me now its one year and 26K KM running. Let’s see. The left side pulling issue is not every time happening. It happens occasionally. Also sometime with correct tyre pressure it gets resolved. Sometime with correct tyre pressure still shows the left side pulling issue. Anyway the pulling is not that much, so it is totally manageable.
Left side pulling issue is there in most VStroms. Maybe you got lucky. 80% of fellow owners I met in the service center have the same issue. So I dont know what are talking about. Just a quick goggling will show you how widespread it is. VStorm can do same offroading every single two wheeler in India can, does not make it a off roader. Its just for highways with good roads. I did a lot of bad stretch of roads and ended the day with backpain. The rear suspension is pathetic. Same with pillion seat and rear brakes. They are all bad. Except those 3, instrument cluster, headlight throw, rest of the bike is good.

Its 90% highway tourer and 10% practically good on uneven roads. Upright position is perfect for long touring and you dont feel fatigue. I have achieved 45 kmpl on highways with an average speed of 85- 90 kmph.in cities i often get 36kmpl. So far completed 5 services. Average cost is around 2500 apart from when i had changed chain and sprocket at 14500kms which cost me around rs6000. Pls go through the manual povided in that there is a dedicated page clarifying service replcements and inspection. Happy motoring bro 😊✌🏻
Super bro, even i changed the sprocket at 13k KM. I thought it was my mistake n carelessness because of which it lasted this much only. Now 23K KM is running in my bike. Bro did u change tyre on your bike , if yes which one u installed?
It depends if you have disturbed any electrical wiring (like cutting n joining of wires). In my case I have used proper relays(plug n play, no cutting requires), so I didn't face this issue. Even recently I changed my battery at Rs 0 under warranty.
Pura feet touch toh nahi hoga, tip toe karna padega. Agar aap ka practice hai tip toe se manage karne ki then no issues. I would suggest please go and take multiple test ride of the bike in showroom then finalise.
Not everytime occasionally it shows that symptoms (specifically I believe when tyre pressure is not correct) and honestly the issue is not that markable like when you leave your both hands then you can notice (which we never do in busy road) Jan6th you are taking ? Its been 5 day (550km) riding vstrom bro Got 48kmpl mileage (60-70avg speed) I felt back suspension is littile bit harder than my old splender also😂 Excpet that in my right side indicator on small piece is broken already informed showroom respeonded very well And clutch liver paint damage was their they assured replacement at first service Except that did not found any problems
@suhask6097 congratulations a lot bro. Very happy for you. Even I remember when i was doing breaking/ruuning in period that time i was not gping above 5K rpm. I was getting 42+ kmpl mileage. But after that i never rode it in that rpm range 😂, in turn mileage dropped to ~30.
I didn't say vstorm's suspension is bad, I say it's suspension is good for highway touring but bad for off-roading. This is ownership experience so far with this bike.
Anyone facing very notchy gear shifting issue...my bike is 4000kms old due for second free service.... I consulted suzuki service centre, they told this problem is common..i doubt that statemt... can any of my frnds enlighten me on this please..
I am not understanding notchy gear shifting means what ? For me I didn’t feel anything as such, one small tip: do apply some wd40 in gear shifter(those moving part) also clean n lube the chain with both sprocket, if after that also it still continue then show it to some other mechanic.

The clutch lever play is set by the service centre technician(what ever is the standard free play they supposed to keep) so far that worked for me flawlessly.

I own a 14 yes old gsr150. Want to upgrade but the price doesn't justify. Suzuki engines are gems but their pricing and servicing sucks. This ans the 250s should have been priced much lower than they are now, otherwise this is going the way of inazuma. I really want to know who their head of marketing is . A japanese would surely have.more sense than an indian executive.
Yeah, now these Japanese are really making their business worst for Indian market. Abroad they are launching bikes with latest updates n features but in india same bike is continuing with price raise. This needs to be changed.
See bro it's tough question 😂 For me what matters most is Reliability (as I travel Solo to mostly remote places), Refinement(Smoothness), Good Highway touring Capability(like effort less crusing power for long duration) which I feel still lacks in Himalayan. So I would still choose Vstorm. But but but I love the off-roading capability( torque, suspension) of Himalayan. If there is a situation where off-roading and mountain ghat roads are there (for example Ladakh) then I would choose Himalayan. But practically to reach Ladakh(any such places) one need to travel hell lots of miles on Highways.

I wouldn't agree when you say it is same bike as Gixer. I completely understand and agree both share same engine, chassis, suspension etc... but there are differences like tyre size, handling, tweaking, ground clearance etc. It feels these differences doesn't matter on paper but trust me ride both the bike practically in different scenarios, you will feel the difference (specially in long distance touring) If I talk about pricing, yes it is overpriced if you compare the actual worth of the changes over Gixer. But this is brand strategize their products line up.

No bro i am 5.6 i don’t have any such issues. As you are taller there may be such things but check once properly while doing test ride.

Honda CB 350 is better, my friend is having cb350 n i have ridden it in both city n highway. I find it more comfortable in city even in highway also it is more comfortable than vstorm.
