Exfoliating doesn't lighten your skin unless you do it excessively I guess, just do it once or twice a week

The results take a long time to show. Instead, I started using coconut oil with a hint of camphor. Thousand times better result :)

Hyper pigmentation comes as a result of acne (at least for me), therefore, it wouldn't return unless you get acne again on the same spot.
