Question.. do you think it would work if I had my shutter set at AI SERVO? I’m a beginner and just recently discovered this setting. Seems like it would take some pressure off the first time with young and wiggly kiddos 😅
In the case of the thumbnail photo of this video, the littlest wasn’t up for it. We had mom and dad hold the littlest and just the bigger two ran to give hugs.
Maybe have the teenagers stand with mom and dad and then have the littles run to them! Or you could have the teenagers be in the back and chase the littles with your focus on the littles.

Not a terrible problem and I fix it in post but what do you recommend for shutter speed for this type of scenario? Thanks so much!

Yep they run across the frame! I still keep the parents back some so they’re sort of running a diagonal past me, not right across me

I typically have mine around 250 or 300! If your photo is too dark, you can raise your ISO to compensate.
