100% the best chat I've seen with a coach. And what a great coach really really smart dude. If u want to understand coaching in any sport listen to this guy. It applies to any sport
Hits every nail on the head, despite being younger, he’s been in more difficult positions than most trainers today and always came out with positive results. Nothing but respect for the guy
@@bigdizzle6157 he was basically a friend and a personal trainer. He deserves credit to help Tyson get back to fitness. I terms of technical skill, no he looked far better once leaving Ben. He took Tyson who was already the best heavyweight in the world before he had him and kept him at the same level
This man deserves so much credit for how he was a massive part of Tyson fury recovery what a man he is so humble but to have that in you to save someone reaching out for help deserves the utmost kudos ❤️
As a huge boxing fan this was another great 1. But I have never questioned ben...think he has done amazing for his young years and still has at least 30 years left
What a experienced brain on such a young shoulders. So much respect to Ben. Never has a bad word to say about anyone. And he’s so good at not dwelling on the negative and living in past. He focuses on the hear and now. And goals for the future. James awesome as always! Great questions! Always allowing everyone get there story out.
Very good interview Ben Davison is a new breed of trainer. His passion for boxing is what makes him good he's always willing to learn himself. No.matter what he does in his career he can always look back and know he done something great helping to re-build a very ill man. What he achieved with Tyson Fury was inspirational. When the Tyson Fury is told after he's finished with boxing I hope Ben Davison is remembered for saving Tyson the man for his family friends. Enjoyed the podcast
A wise head on young shoulders is Ben, a brilliant trainer and obviously has the technical skills as well as the emotional maturity to get the best out of his fighters. Brilliant interview James
Nice one James, delivered again pal. Ben is a proper down to earth fella. Like his skill in training. Only 28 years young aswell. Great future Ben boy.
Smashed it again James! Great watch as always with all the right questions asked 💪 Ben seems such a humble guy & always look forward to the boxing ones!
James, well done, getting this guy is going to help with the people who suffer from the depression, listening gives everyone that bit of hope, well done to you,
Always say James another top 1 bud that's the kind of man you want in your corner quiet calm and collected like you say the quiet ones go out and do the business keep up the good work James
It must be hard being a young boxing coach, because I would of thought it’s hard to gain boxers respect being so young. It shows how good he is. Good luck Ben
I really enjoyed this one. Ben was so honest and went through loads. I wouldn't mind seeing a part two in the future. James you seemed to enjoy this one as you was asking more questions. Brillant piece of work, this ranked high in my top ten of your podcasts.
Another Cracking interview James, Ben comes across a really really well, also brilliant to get to know a bit more about Ben as a person and not just a coach. The list of guys he’s training/trained, speaks for itself. Excellent
Great to see how a young trainer thinks and what his philosophy is on Boxing. It's interesting because people talk about guys like Eddie Futch, Cus D'Mato, Brendan Ingle, Slim Jim etc. but we seen them as old men, they must've been young like Davison at one point, had all these ideas and soaking up knowledge/learning way before social media existed. We will definitely watch him in 30 years and see how much he's evolved over time and how much his ideas on Boxing has changed or been further enhanced.
Top quality interview - loved every second. Its something special watching someone who loves their craft talk about it in such depth. The passion Is contagious. Class 🙌
Great interview! Been around boxing all my life, my Dad and Uncles were all decent fighters 1934's onwards, this guy seems to have old school thinking, but with modern skills in terms of diet, wish him well after achieving this much at such a young age!
Ben is the most talented young British coach. Unlike many boxing coaches, he’s not a system coach following a rigid style template. He adapts to the fighter and lives the fight with the fighter too. Great future 🥊
What a great interview! Ben's wise beyond his early 30's, Ben & his team are some of the smartest young trainers in Boxing. He's got AJ dialed all the way in right now, both of them get along greatly as well. Ben's got a great team with him & has a good stable of fighters including AJ, Haney etc....Boxing is 80% Mental 20% Physical.🥊
This guy has done very well for someone literally learning on the job! He has been extremely lucky to have had the likes of Billy Joe and Tyson to learn from but he has grabbed the opportunity by the horns and made good of it. That deserves respect
Great interview, James! Big fan of Ben and his work, he's a smashing coach and has a very bright career ahead of him. I wish I had half his wits when I was 28.
Best podcast to date for me... fascinating insight into Ben’s mind. He is a future ball of fame trainer for certain. Keep getting the boxing guys on james it’s very interesting! Tyson fury next...
A top boxing teacher who thinks outside the box. I've been involved and interested in boxing for 45+ years and Ben is one of the best teachers I have seen. Only Brendan Ingle can compare when assessing British coaches over the last 30 years.
You need to get David cox on your show! Pro footballer in Scotland that retired due to mental health I believe his story needs to be heard to help men all over the world speak out and look for help
