What a big difference without him even then and still till this day. Imagine if he never broke his thumb and had better protection and receivers??? Fun (not that fun) fact: Kurt Warner sustained the same broken thumb from his throwing hand, had surgery as well but mentioned that after that he never was able to grip the ball like before, that he lost feeling and was never the same. You can tell in some images from this game after Jay tacle the guy, you can see he was pissed because he knew something was wrong. He started to bite his finger to try to feel something. Check 1:46:09 then when he bites his thumb at 1:46:30 and worried/pissed at 1:47:17
Chino Rojas Wow. Thanks for the timestamps because I was watching this game live and didn’t realize it at the time. Very disappointing turn of the season. Caleb Hanie didn’t do much in Cutler’s absence and neither did 3rd stringer Jason Campbell.
One of Cutler‘s best games. He was in the conversation for MVP this year. This would’ve been one of the Bears best years if he finished healthy. this is the biggest shames of the Cutler/Urlacher era. So many what ifs!
This game was a heart breaker. This Bears team was rolling with the #2 scoring offense and a defense that suddenly came alive with the additions of Stephen Paea & Chris Conte in starting roles..Once Cutler went down they were basically screwed with Martz refusing to run the Ball. If this Bears team doesnt lose Cutler, Knox, Forte I think they would have ended up better than the 2010 team. Oh yeah one more thing FK MAJOR WRIGHT...
Yeah his injury was heartbreaking, bears were headed for a really good season. Cutler was actually having a really good start to his season. Injuries always change things .
12-4 or 11-5 for sure. I remember not knowing or hearing anything about Cutler's injury until I saw Mike Florio on SNF pregame. Cutler and the offense were on a roll in that 5 game winning streak. Averaging 30 pts in that span. People wanted Caleb Hanie and they got him. Went from 7-3 to 7-7 then Lovie finally put Josh McCown in. He was way more serviceable than Caleb.
and quite possibly could have upset the Packers at Lambeau in the playoffs had they stayed healthy but when Cutler got hurt, the dominoes started to fall quick
You have recorded many games from the 2009 to 2013 period that demonstrated that Bears overall had a decent and competitive team. I am a Vikings fan, but the Bears had bad luck befall them in 2011, 2012 (I don't regret it), and 2013 that derailed their playoff hopes. Those who believe that Jay Cutler was a terrible QB overall only need to look at your videos of games featuring the Bears in the 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 season to disabuse themselves of that perception. He had many decent, good, and great games, interspaced with poor, bad, and terrible games... Cutler was balling out up until that injury he suffered in this game the bears offense was never the same after this and also lovie smith should’ve never been let go , he should still be coaching the bears and C. Tillman never got the roses he deserves he’s the reason a lot of the players today punch at the ball he really was the strip punch fumble and one last thing J. Knox was a good Wr with potential & promise career was cut short due to injury
The Bears were the hottest team in the league at this point. I’m convinced they win the super bowl if not for Knox falling down on that play. Cutty should have just let the defender score. It wouldn’t have made a difference in the outcome of this game.
with the Bears completely botching up their off-season and showing that they're the same old Bears with their same old stank methods to develop a QB on an offense, I decided I won't be a fan anymore and only watch these good old games
This is the game that Cutler broke his thumb chasing someone after an INT and it derailed the season. Bears were on a roll up until that point.

Bears never amount to anything. Probably never will again.
more like FK Caleb Hanie, only thing that guy did in his career was have his little moment in the NFC title game
I know it would probably take forever, but you should create a spreadsheet that shows all games you have
Bears would have finished the regular season 12-4 with a healthy Cutler
If you add "probably" or "possibly" you would sound less dumb.

1:14:30 SD: Jackson 5-yd rec from Rivers

Charles Tillman 7 tackles, 1 FR, 1 FF
That throw at 1:26:40 is absolutely nuts
It’s unreal the amount WR’s Cutler had to go through with Chicago.
They were a Super Bowl caliber team this year. Too bad Jay got that thumb injury.
Cutler's a pussy
If only we had a franchise quarterback all those years 😭
We had one. But we had a faberge egg offensive line in front of it.

Damn I miss Cutler
Do you happen to have 2006 or 2008 Texans vs Raiders or 2007 Packers vs Chiefs?
Go Chargers! Heading to the game today!
If Caleb Williams can play like Jay , I’d be happy, yes that is my expectation
can you upload 2007 Browns @ Patriots
This is when the interminable reviews and challenges started to kill the NFL.
Johnny was a fuckin animal.💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Look at that pathetic O-Line. It's no wonder why we stood no chance on offense.
1:07:24 he says it’s legal, I don’t think it is
Damn
Philip Rivers throwing stupid interceptions in the 4th quarter!? Completely uncharacteristic.
😂😂😂 Jay Cutler actually playing good competitive football and winning games? What kind of fuckery is this??! 😂😂😂
@@StedmanFoster Cutler was actually on fire that season. He then broke his thumb on a missed tackle after an int and the bears fell apart.
@@BlazingRaptor I know, I was just being facetious. I was a Cutler fan.
haha looks like mahomes has the characteristic as well..against the raiders?? hahahahahha
