This game was addicting and HIGHLY underrated... hidden (in America) by it's other vs. series brethren... I DO hope they make an HD port or something of this game and release it for Switch... these polished graphics show just how gorgeous this game CAN look without the lo-res restrictions of the Wii....
I mean to be fair, it was ported to the west specifically because fans kept begging capcom. And it sold relatively well at half a million. So there may be hope?

I don't think an HD port is feasible, given that Tatsunoko isn't very known outside Japan and certain parts of Europe. It got released in the USA thanks to the fans' insisting Capcom (DESPITE THEM NOT KNOWING WTH TATSUNOKO IS IN THE FIRST PLACE AND THEY ONLY CARE ABT THE CAPCOM SIDE OF THE THING) and that didn't sold much copies. So the incentivation for an HD remake just isn't there outside Japan for obvious reasons.
The local arcade in my area still has this game. Oddly enough, Ryu and Chun-Li are my squad; I used to play this and just go combo crazy with 'em after classes because the arcade was right across the street from the college I attended at the time. The good ol' days 😊
The arcade Round 1, in San Jose California Eastridge Mall has the TVC machine too. Also, I used to play this on the Wii and many players I come across use Zero and or Alex. Fun game, but rarely see them in arcades since TVC machines are Japanese exclusives, if I remember correctly.

After the "ro-ro" passed through, folks now have to pay a $25 admission fee (15 bucks on Tuesdays) just to get in and play the games. To think this was the last Capcom crossover games that literally oozed with the same passion as the 1st 2 MVC crossover games. At least the version we got has the better soundtrack surprisingly. I don't think any of the Japanese tracks would've been as memorable as Orbital Ring System Cargo Bay's theme.

This game was SO good & Fun! They would've sold multiMILLIONS of copies if they weren't idiots and made it available for other platforms, instead of being a wii exclusive in 2010. People were blown away by this because this was a new Marvel vs Capcom type game they wanted. But when MvC3 came out in 2011, this got thrown into the back burner.
To be fair, TvC originally on arcade machines that run on Wii based hardware, hence why the Wii exclusivity. That being said, TvC 2 needs to happen on other consoles.

You would think this would handle like a standard vs title but they dumbed down the control scheme for the wii, otherwise i think it has everything expected of such a title. Still waiting for a new darkstalkers and project justice.
