agreed, Personally my favorite just the anime skips so much content when it could have been drawn out and help with the long wait between novels. The novels themselves even gloss over content, Ijaniya and frost giants?? to name a few.
As much as I like Overlord and I wish they would have more episodes/content, channels like this one scratched that itch of wanting more. I did just start the Light Novel because I want more now lol I haven't really watched many new anime in general for a few years. But when Overlord S4 came out, I was watching weekly.
That failed knight asterisk war example really hit me because i watched asterisk after and was left dumbfounded at why it had so many episode and failed knight only got 12… and since I’m not really a light novel reader I’ve just been in the dark😭
I’m so invested in overlord that even after reading all the light novels and watching the anime, I still want more, which is why I’m reading Valkyrie’s Shadow.

Overlord light novel goes into far more detail, for better or worse. I remember reading one of the volumes, I read for a solid 30-40 mins when I picked it up. When the anime aired that content it was less than a 5 min scene. For every min of the anime you watch just assume they ... not really skipped over, but gave you the TR;DR version of 5 mins worth of context. A volume can be a good 8-12 hours worth of reading material summarized in 2-3 episodes. It skips a lot of inner monologue, mostly of Ainz doubting himself, or trying to perfect the character he plays.

I don't know how it is for other people but in general not just overlord I watch a lot of anime that have a good amount of world building who also have long breaks in between seasons but it's never really bothered me I'd forget a few plot points but still remember where the last season ended and I'd re remember as I watch the new season only time I ever rewatch a show to remember things is when I want to for the fun of it like with danmachi, when season 4 dropped I rewatched 1-3 just for fun I still remember what happened during them maybe this whole issue just depends on the person because I can remember but I can't say the same for everyone
I feel the same way, but the more i live - more i see that for most people rememberkng stuff like this is not so trivial. People really forget some really important moments in show. Or about something i often care like recognise voice actors or opening and ending singers.
Schäärgocks Schächsaß Wasn't The First/Og Name Of The Channel As Far As I Remember The 1st One Is Mutch Easier To Remember (unless I'm mistaking it to another channel)
If you're a fan of Overlord, read Valkyrie's Shadow. In my mind, it is cannon continuation. And it gives so much food for thought. About how the lands of Re-Estize became Sorcerous Kingdom, about Draconic Kingdom, its Queen and demihuman neighbours, about what happened to Ruin's Wake (the ghost ship of Katze Plains), why Frost Giants were suddenly making statues of Ainz near E-Rantel, etc. Pretty much must read, although it is now over triple the lengths of all original light novels. If you enjoy it, would love to watch your review, book per book.
Second comment because aninews is the reason I found your channel and love your content so much aninews just couldn't keep consistent with the amount of overlord stuff I was interested in but you were and are able to so it's honestly once every full moon I find a new aninews video I'll watch
I want to see level 100 fights. Like Pandora's Actor vs. Platinum Dragon Lord and Ainz vs. Shalltear. I want to see what the peak of performance can do. How would two high level PVP players perform? Battle strategies? Builds? More of that.
I think maybe part of the impact of s4 was lost due to the HKarc not being there. I agree with their reason for leaving it out though! It makes sense to go that route. Vol12-13 were fucking amazing but I think that amazing-ness also made the events of Vol14 hit even harder when I was reading it. We spent 2 volumes reading about Ainz's greatness and revealing the insidious plotting of Nazarick... then vol14 happened, and it really felt like The End Of The World. Ainz spent all that time gaining allies and it all lead up to that moment of him destroying a whole kingdom. Idk man, it had more OOMPH when I read it in chronological order
I love Overlord, it's easily in my top 10, but starting to read through light novels I've noticed sooo much cut content. Which before reading is why ended up at channels like this to help fill the gaps. But hats off, yo the studio, even though its nowhere near as flushed out as the books, it's pacing if you were watching it as an anime only holds up. I didn't feel like I was missing anything too important or story breaking
I really enjoy these videos, love the topic of Overlord but also the debate and analysis. I personally would’ve liked to have seen longer seasons of Overlord in order to include those little details even if that resulted in a longer break between seasons to make it. I also wish we could get more of those popular, quality anime that for whatever reason only got a single season (10-13 episodes) - No Game No Life and Spice & Wolf were good examples - in contrast to some less quality shows that are being pumped out like there’s no tomorrow.
The thing with Asterisk war and Failed Knight is that asterisk war probably had someone backing it who was more connected with TV networks and/or had more money to just DUMP into the show.
Even tough they skipped so much but i can't stop myself to enjoy overlord content I feel very sad too see many people giving shit on overlord because they don't have complete idea of story. But also they are saying light novel is also going to kinda end abruptly that make me very sad
I consider myself lucky that I got into watching overlord in January last year and so I had 4 seasons of content to see. And honestly after watching it I must say that the wait for the movie is killing me. Channels like yours have been really good to get to know more information about the world and characters and I do want to read the novel but the release dates in my country are looking painfully slow and I want to wait to have a good amount to start reading since I don't want to get really into it and be forced to stop until a new volume is release. Right now here in brazil the release dates were/are: Volume 1 - 10/06/2022 Volume 2 - 10/10/2022 Volume 3 - 23/06/2023 Volume 4 - 06/06/2024 So yeah the wait is being a torture for me. But I'm super hyped for the movie can't wait for it.
Your videos are the reason I started reading the Light Novels. You explained how much detail was left out of I decided screw I’m buying and got first three and went through them in a about week
The same thing about tensura, due to the gap between the last season and the new season that's gonna come out, unless I do a rewatch of it or look for videos that says about things that were cut out, I'm gonna get confused about many things while watching the new season, I'd be like "who tf is this guy?" or something. I mean, the number of episodes is about the same as Overlord after all, although the skipped info was not as much.
I'd pay like 1k to have my memories of watching Overlord erased so I could watch it again. It's one of my favorite anime, but it never feels the same after a rewatch. I also don't know about that opinion, I usually watch all forms of Overlord content
When it comes to the whole Overlord and Game of Thrones comparison, it’s like I’ve always said, Overlord is basically GOT during reign/campaigns of Aegon the Conqueror. In that they’re both stories are (in broad strokes) about a foreign invader, seeking to create their ideal form of a prosperous society, by way of uniting various nations/kingdoms under their singular banner through using their sheer overwhelming might and power. Just replace dragons with (actual) magic, hordes of undead, legions of demons and monsters of pretty much every shape and size, and the occasional Eldritch Lovecraftian horror.
Overlord has great world/character building going into great depth, Wish there was more content but if your read the light novels the anime is far too short. One of the few that scratches that old school DND vibe itches without going too childish like most modern anime.
I've read the LN, my GF doesn't really read for recreation but we watch anime together, and overlord is one of the "I can't watch it without her, or she'll get pissed" animes. Admittedly, the gap from 3 to 4 may have been a good thing, as she is still pissed about how Ainz took out Gazef.
As a huge Overlord fan I agree with Gigguk on something you may have misunderstood (or I have lol ) But I think by saying Overlord every season feels like it's going to deliver something hype and then it doesn't he didn't mean specific scenes/hype moments in season four I think he meant every season feels like it's a build up season for the next one and in the next one shits going down for sure , and then it dooees... but kinda doesn't just turns out it's another build up season or at least that's how it may feel to some people, it's good it's Overlord it's more of something I love but I can see how other may not like it or expected something else
6:00 i think thats exactly how i feel every time i hear new season of anime i watched 2-3 years ago is coming out Also i get what they are saying. getting back into anime that had a long break means you would have to take away time from other anime to remind yourself why you cared. And between rewatching old anime or checking out new one most people would go with the new one. I guess thats why alot of shows gets left in the dust
I finished the Holy Kingdom arc recently, and MY GOD, SASUGA AINZ-SAMA JUST INTENSIFIES. I can't wait for the movie, even if it adapts half of what happened I'll piss myself with joy. Poor Calca tho, F for best weapon.
2:20 that's valid.... Many season 2 of most anime series (of course overlord almost) is like "yeah since we have many fans let's just make it the way we like or not.. i bet fans still love it". Well some will but majority is like you said put it in bin...
As soon as I hear about the comeback of season 4, I have to watch a lot of reactions just to get into it again, and just like Joey, I haven't watched any anime in like 3 years, but Overlord, bring me back.
I like overlord more than most, but I also acknowledge that the author want to wrap the story up and I am completely fine with it ending in the next arc (2 volumes). I honestly can't even wait for it.
Looking back on seeing peoples reactions to the Overlord anime with them being meh on itreally saddens me when I think about how bad the the anime adaption was for it, and many Overlord anime only fans won't truly experience all the magic the light novel series has to offer, since Overlord is love by many light novel fans for these primary reasons: 1)Main villain as a protagonist - Unlike most isekai shows where the main character is morally good for the most part, Ainz is UNDOUBTEDLY a villain, since one of his goals is to try to dominate this new world. For instance, in Season 1 when Ainz was prepared to murder Niferea in when his identity as Momon was almost found out. Another example, is the UNPROVOKED attack on the lizard men led by Ainz in season 2 that cost countless lives for their species, and it was all done for experimentation for Ainz, it's also worth keeping in mind that the ONLY reason that Ainz decided to show mercy to the Lizardmen was due to Coctyus's request, which led to the situation we are in now where the Lizardmen aren't following Ainz now out of love, but fear, since they know first hand what he and his army of Nazarick are capable of, and we see more of that fear being shown from them in the later volumes. Next, is the attack on Re Estize kingdom led by Demiruge, which again, similar to the Lizardman was an UNPROVOKED attack led by Ainz crew that caused the death of not only countless soldiers of the kingdom, but men AND children as well. Heck, Demiurge kidnaps women and FORCES them to cross breed with other species for experimentation, which is essentially rape, and Ainz will NEVER actively punish him for it, since in the Light Novel he's stated time and time again that the denizens of Nazarick will ALWAYS have more value then the people of this new world. So here we have protagonist that's caused genocide for his own SELFISH reasons, and will CONTINUE TO DO SO in future arcs, and has subordinates that aren't above doing more bad things, such as rape ( Demiurge, and Shalltear fall into this rape category, though over 90% of the denizens of Nazarick are evil beings that enjoy the suffering of humans, just don't rape them with a few exceptions like Sebas who is morally good) so all this effectively makes Ainz a dictator on the same level as Hitler. However, what seperates Ainz from MANY other villains in fiction is that he isn't one dimensional as we see the man show compassion for those around him, even if it's primarily reserve with those in Nazarick, and he also has flaws in the fact that he struggles to be a competant leader for them, Making him a complex villain, up there with Griffith. It's a change of pace to what I usually see and it's glorious. 2) Foreshadowing- Many of the major events are set up in earlier parts of the story like how Ninya's death at the hands of Clementine played a role in Ainz rare act of compassion to someone outside of Nazarick in sparing Tuare is a great example of this. And there were many foreshadowing threads in season 3 season that will play a MAJOR role in future arcs, Seriously, I'll never forget reading the predictions people made in earlier volumes, with MANY of them being spot on in the more recent volumes due to all the seeds the author planted in those earlier volumes, which is great story telling. 3) world building- I could write an essay on how much world building was axed from the anime, and I don't know where to start so I won't bother lol. Personally I feel the anime fails at most of this since ALOT of the character moments are either brushed over or are outright glossed over, and that's in addition to skipping MANY of the world building elements. You KNOW it's bad when whenever there's a reaction video of Overlord on youtube, you have people in the comments of said videos writing LITERAL paragraphs explaining what was skipped on EACH episode, not as a whole season, and episode per video. It's bad. Then there's the animation itself, which there isn't much to speak of, and that's not even mentioning the god awful CGI. Overall, a weak adaption, which is a shame because the light novels are so good, and REALLY dark in terms of tone, for instance, like going into more detail about Demiurge's breeding experiments ( many of the denizens of Nazarick are aware of this by the way, they just don't care that he's doing it, since they consider humans to be inferior to them), and Shalltear's weird and horrifying sexual fantasies ( she enjoys sexually assaulting women), or Ainz lack of sympathy for humanity as a whole, and how that's explored when he commits genocide. And the books go into far more detail on all of this. It's to the point that I feel that anime fans, and light novel fans are getting entirely different experiences.
I never read the novel or even any novel. But i always love when the story is so big and deep, the MC cant even shown much of the time. Like To Aru Majutsu, Lord of The Rings, Bokurano, Mushoku Tensei, Ergo Proxy, etc. And of course Overlord.
If i had to disagree on anything, it'd be disagree about the asterisk war's Characters are more memorable to some extent, while the chivalry's Token twin tailed tsundere look kinda gave me a different expectation. I barely remember anything that memorable other than the ending fight scene where the animation is really cool and all but i do believe it is because it feels like a lot is cut out. The asterisk war was way better on the advertisement side, and again, it feels at least a little more fleshed out.
Honestly, it's pretty easy to understand their point of view. The show wasn't as fleshed out as it was in the light novels and tge large breaks between seasons does do a lot of damage to the fans who have to wait an extremely long time. Personally, what made me really enjoy season 4 was this youtube channels and others that explained the cut content in overlord. Of course I enjoyed the anime but these channels that explain how it was in the Ln make the show alot more interesting. I'm not saying g the anime wasn't enjoyable, but if it covered the Ln abit more extensively, the show would be much better
I think anime seasons sometimes fail to deliver that episode 0 recap for what has happened in earlier seasons. That would be good way to people to reintroduce themselves to the story without spending too much time for it. Btw a lot of people lose small information as they never watch the mini-chibi episodes which give nice background information too.
i care for overlord, i truly care. Even though i cannot purchase the LN and feel pretty lazy to read LN, even the pirated one, i still really wanna watch Overlord LN content, i want more of it.
Bro I had to watch your videos so I could remember what happened the season before 😂 I love overlord but God its to detail for them to be taking so long to make new seasons
Season 4 of the show was garbage. I felt utterly lost and when i tried to talk to people about it they wouldn't stop bringing up the LN. Like....dude yea the LN might be ok but the anime was dog shit. I went and tried reading the LN and I was shocked at all the context and explanations that were cut out. The LN is more fo a dark comedy rather than the power fantasy we get presented in the show.
Aight, I've decided, I'm starting the Overlord LN after I am done reading the 3 or 4 volumes of Eminence in Shadow that are out. I am a fast reader. I've read up to 2.5 volumes in a night, but I just don't always have the time.
I would like a video on moments that improved on manga to anime adaption. Gons rage / the death at the end of the season so well done too. The dance at the end of overload song with the demon princess
Meh first we getting the movie about the holy Kingdom Arc what was taken out from season 4.. the announcement should drop sometimes this year.... then i guess maybe we get a Season 5. If you leave out the kingom Arc... theres just The Half-Elf Demigod Ln 1 and 2 right now.. no other Lns are ready.. and Ln 18 after that is the last one of the series. There were many people not happy about how slow Overlord in general is but.. well its not your typical isekai not your typical Ln. is darker more mature and better written than most LN's. Much of the Lore and narration is already been cut from the Anime otherwise even more people would complain about the slow pace it is going. This makes some of the second level chars a bit one dimensional.
I kinda hate "slice-of-life" parts of Overlord, but they are important. They show that life is not only epic fights & drama, both Nazarick & NewWorlders have their regular, normal, everyday life.
I am curious to hear your opinion on Overlord's author dropping the light novel, Volume 18 ending it on a very unsatisfying note, to allegedly start writing a highschool romance instead?
It's very old news even before Vol. 14 release. The author wanted to end in Volume 17 but because he had to much fun writing Vol. 15 and 16 he extended to 18
I kinda understand why he want to write highschool Rom... It's like me watching konosuba then watch overlord then watch like what another isekai stuff over and over i was like?... Huh? Let's try something else...
I've been thinking about the concept of Itto Shura from chivalry for the last couple weeks. About how it is basically the same concept as the eight gates from Naruto and is technically possible. I never realized that was what I was doing when I was feeling overwhelmed and desperate. But now all I want is to practice with a variety of weapons.
After we had eminence in shadow do two volumes with 20 episodes devoted to two volumes and a second season doing 12 episodes probably to one volume really shows many be you shouldn’t rush plot.
Overlord has several things working against it. The anime is straight up garbage as an adaptation, most of the characters meet abrupt/bad ends, Ainz is insufferable at times, and with 2 volumes left the ending is bound to be rushed. It really isn't worth it at this point.
I would like to buy the Overlord light novels. i live in the U.S. What kind of price should I be looking for? Seller? I would hate to over pay by a large amount. I've never bought a light novel before.
I've always been an overlord fan, and i do enjoy all of it's worldbending/etc, and it is sad how much we won't see. I don't remember what channel it was, but they used those robotic script reading voices to explain overlord ch's and they edited in visuals/character portraits/etc, and it was about the holy kingdom coming up. I enjoyed ALL of that soo much, i legit prob watched 5 or so hours of it (i think there were like 60-70 vids on that arc, adn each like 10m maybe) that i'm super sad we're only getting a Movie.... if it's hard to pack all this info into 12 eps... how the hell are they gonna pack all the Neia i wanna see into like an hr and a half or two...
Personally for me, I still very much like the show but I’ve found myself liking the main cast less because of how inhumane they’ve been acting. It’s obvious since they’re not humans but the last couple episodes of season 4 were definitely hectic 😂
Overlord is the only Isekai anime that I can watch over and over again and never get bored, the only thing I don't like about the anime is season 2 the first half because of the lizardmen. Other than that overlord is a pretty good anime.
I still have hopes for No Game No Life S2. I don't care about any negativity surrounding the series or the author or anything. I just want more. 7:57 That is the excuse that smooth brains use when they don't want to actually get into a series. Some people need to be reminded to put the fucking phone down and watch the damn show.
Hey you know what, Gigguk's comparison to "trying to get back into a JRPG" makes a LOT of sense. Overlord is basically a really long and drawn out DnD campaign. I think the only reason I'm still so in-touch with Overlord is coz I got into it during the pandemic, and by then there were 3 seasons and 14 novels out, I did nothing but CONSUME that content coz there was a lot for me to work with. Post-season4, it's hard to keep track of all the lore unless you're super invested already.
Go ahead and make those other lore videos. I know I watch about any video I can about Overlord even though I have read many of the light novels. I love hearing about other peoples takes or going over details I may have missed.
Some of the lore which was cut would have been nice if they kept it, but it’s one of those things, how would the put it in, say 1 full page of inner thoughts can be spoken in about 1 minute
Wait doesn't Mudan edit Trash Taste? So that episode title probably wasn't even the boys. Anyway I watched/listened to the episode on the weekend when doing yard work as usual it was pretty much more nothing sauce on the nothing burger that is most of the boys "hot" takes.
Man I grew tired after nobody can lay a finger on Ainz or even put some opposition to him and his Nazarick tomb so it's kinda the same every new arc. Sure there are always some unnecessary drama at the start but you already know how broken everybody on Ainz side is and how little new characters matter (since they will most likely easily be killed) that its becoming tiring, boring and a waste of time (to wait for the next volume).
Anime aside, the sad thing about the light novels is that the series is gonna end after volume 17, when it was originally intended to go on much longer.
It's crazy how successful the Overlord series could have been if Madhouse had tried to make the seasons longer and include more world and character building content from the LN in the anime. 13 episodes for a season is not enough for a masterpiece such as Overlord.

It's non canon
yeah, but better than most recent volumes
Second comment because aninews is the reason I found your channel and love your content so much aninews just couldn't keep consistent with the amount of overlord stuff I was interested in but you were and are able to so it's honestly once every full moon I find a new aninews video I'll watch
I don't give a fuck if I'm the only person who loves overlord left in the world, Its one of my all time favorites 👑
I want to see level 100 fights. Like Pandora's Actor vs. Platinum Dragon Lord and Ainz vs. Shalltear. I want to see what the peak of performance can do. How would two high level PVP players perform? Battle strategies? Builds? More of that.
same
I think maybe part of the impact of s4 was lost due to the HKarc not being there.
Meanwhile Eminence in Shadow giving 2 volumes 20 episodes
Right now here in brazil the release dates were/are:
Volume 1 - 10/06/2022
Volume 2 - 10/10/2022
Volume 3 - 23/06/2023
Volume 4 - 06/06/2024
So yeah the wait is being a torture for me. But I'm super hyped for the movie can't wait for it.
Your videos are the reason I started reading the Light Novels. You explained how much detail was left out of I decided screw I’m buying and got first three and went through them in a about week
Just hearing talking about Overlord again ive got chicken skinn and im hyped up. Fuck
I love the fact that I made the argument about Chilvery of a Fail Knight Vs Asterisk War right before Zero brought the show up 🤣
RE:ZERO 3 trailer has dropped!!!
I have watched 200 animes and I love overlord the most its my favorite and I gave it the highest score on every webstie
You can make cheesecake with mashed potatoes.
As a huge Overlord fan I agree with Gigguk on something you may have misunderstood (or I have lol )
But I think by saying Overlord every season feels like it's going to deliver something hype and then it doesn't he didn't mean specific scenes/hype moments in season four I think he meant every season feels like it's a build up season for the next one and in the next one shits going down for sure , and then it dooees... but kinda doesn't just turns out it's another build up season or at least that's how it may feel to some people, it's good it's Overlord it's more of something I love but I can see how other may not like it or expected something else
yeah
I was overlord got the same treatment as tge eminence in shadow where it's 10 episodes per volume
5:21 One piece manga is in the final saga confirmed by Oda
6:00 i think thats exactly how i feel every time i hear new season of anime i watched 2-3 years ago is coming out
Also i get what they are saying. getting back into anime that had a long break means you would have to take away time from other anime to remind yourself why you cared. And between rewatching old anime or checking out new one most people would go with the new one. I guess thats why alot of shows gets left in the dust
What scares me is that the author is burning out right now but the books are great. Albedo needs to be bred by Momonga
What if there are breaks between seasons there's always the mother load of content FANFICTION.
cant wait for more seasons, ive rewatched the series more than 6 times for sure
I really liked it and watched it more than once. I do care about overlord.
Damn need to watch more anime then
I like overlord more than most, but I also acknowledge that the author want to wrap the story up and I am completely fine with it ending in the next arc (2 volumes). I honestly can't even wait for it.
Looking back on seeing peoples reactions to the Overlord anime with them being meh on itreally saddens me when I think about how bad the the anime adaption was for it, and many Overlord anime only fans won't truly experience all the magic the light novel series has to offer, since Overlord is love by many light novel fans for these primary reasons:
1)Main villain as a protagonist - Unlike most isekai shows where the main character is morally good for the most part, Ainz is UNDOUBTEDLY a villain, since one of his goals is to try to dominate this new world.
I still care for it,honestly I want it to not end maybe like vol 25 or something
I have NEVER STOPPED caring! I watch it all the way through at least twice a year.
As an overlord fan I am very baised because I always kept Reading the LNs and Rewatching the Anime
Basically the same confusion I had with the video about how "no one's watching Hell's Paradise"...
i care for overlord, i truly care.
Huh, they do actually make a good point about the time gaps. It actually would be a pain in the ass to remember all the stuff that happened before.
I subscribed when you talked chivalry of a failed knight. One of my favorites. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Not perfect, but a great sword-fighting anime.
18:27 I agree and I was the same, started reading LN after waiting for 2nd Season back in 2017.😅.
Your another fellow Trash Taste viewer? I never saw this coming
You should be invite in those three argument about what's going with fiction series in japan animation or literature (LN and manga).
If they aren't hyped for Overlord their Name really fits
Overlord has several things working against it.
The anime is straight up garbage as an adaptation, most of the characters meet abrupt/bad ends, Ainz is insufferable at times, and with 2 volumes left the ending is bound to be rushed.
It really isn't worth it at this point.
I was just thinking about your channel and you happened to pop up. 🤘🏻
I would like to buy the Overlord light novels. i live in the U.S. What kind of price should I be looking for? Seller? I would hate to over pay by a large amount. I've never bought a light novel before.
LOL. Overlord has to be one of my favorite shows. Read the manga and I just finished all the light novel audio books too. cant wait for more.
My God, now that I see it I can't unsee it 0:57
Not me yelling Asterisk War over Rakudai Kisihi no Calvary 5 seconds before he says it lmao
I really love and care about overlord
Personally for me, I still very much like the show but I’ve found myself liking the main cast less because of how inhumane they’ve been acting. It’s obvious since they’re not humans but the last couple episodes of season 4 were definitely hectic 😂
Overlord is the only Isekai anime that I can watch over and over again and never get bored, the only thing I don't like about the anime is season 2 the first half because of the lizardmen.
Other than that overlord is a pretty good anime.
i watcht the show over 12 times! every season! and i still fcking love it! i want moar overlord!..
It's great to see you but now you awakened the "craving" xD
The same thing happened with the rising of the shield hero with me I couldn’t even finish the season
I still have hopes for No Game No Life S2.
I don't care about any negativity surrounding the series or the author or anything.
I just want more.
7:57
That is the excuse that smooth brains use when they don't want to actually get into a series.
I love hearing about other peoples takes or going over details I may have missed.
i rewatch anime, i reread LN and WN. i mean that i really care even the theories.
Some of the lore which was cut would have been nice if they kept it, but it’s one of those things, how would the put it in, say 1 full page of inner thoughts can be spoken in about 1 minute
Speaking of long waits between releases, Hellsing ultimate had a mean gap
Chivalry of a Failed Knight is based as fuck because MCs little sister straight up tongue kissed him.
Pffft first time?
@@abrahamwijaya6631 is there more?????
@@possiblycurryddork more than you know if you could read...
@@abrahamwijaya6631 So you're talking about the light novel or manga?
@@possiblycurryddork you know japanase? Their taste is weird
Bro don't say that Date Alive is crap, I love that show.
Tbh i really like when shows/movies leave out a lot of stuff. Gives me an excuse to read the sorce material.
i wish they could do a hxh and have a narrator for overlord
Anime aside, the sad thing about the light novels is that the series is gonna end after volume 17, when it was originally intended to go on much longer.
Volume 18, originally Volume 20 overlord will ended
We've been waiting so long we ourselves have become the skeletons for a new overlord anime season 💀💀💀
