Thank you!
I had a feeling there wouldn't be many comments on this video. Prolapse looks gross though, so thank you.
It can definitely be a challenge.
Can you please tell me how often these exercises should be performed?
Had a laparoscopic surgery to finally rectify my prolapse, I'm afraid due to my hyperflexibilty syndrome mine was too far gone to be dealt with typically and oh boy the recovery process has been long and difficult to say the least (5 months in and i still have to number 2 very carefully). Hope everyone else suffering from something similar can achieve recovery and relief quickly! P.s. the surgery was the best thing to happen to me, absolutely life changing for the better!
You bring up a good point! Prolapse is graded on a scale. If it’s on the lower end, PT can usually help, but if it’s the higher end, surgery is sometimes indicated.

I don't get it. The whole thing has fallen, what up or low?
@@stormyweather8798 if it’s fallen a little, it’s grade 1. It’s graded up to grade 4 where it’s visually out
.They cannot really fix it. They tried a hammock. It cut up the tissue and got ingrained. Bad idea.
Omg i keep getting notifications for uploads from this channel
How did I somehow get subbed to this channel?????

Hey Doc, question...for those of us that have a belly, is there a better way to do the modified happy baby exercise because when I do this, ir hurts, like I feel like I'm doing harm & after my rib area is very sore.

Ovry cyst best pelvic exercise mam plz
I am 74 years old. I had laparoscopic surgery last year for a prolapsed bladder and uterus. I also had a hysterectomy at the same time. The recovery was difficult and still ongoing. The veins in my right arm were blown from the anesthetic needle and my arm was black for months. The perineal nerves behind my knees were damaged to the point of causing numb feet. Physiotherapy has not helped. They are still numb. Two months after my surgery my bladder prolapsed again and I’m right back to where I was - great discomfort and having to wear a pessary. Will these pelvic floor exercises help me or am I too far gone? I am terrified at having another surgery. 😢
I’m so sorry:( without doing an exam, it’s difficult to know whether these exercises will help. Most of my patients do typically at least find some relief.
Thank you. I’ll give them a try.
my girlfriend is stage 3 uterine prolapse omg i love it ! why do some women feel embarrassed? It is truly something to celebrate! Thank you
You’re welcome!
What in the world do u dig😮 about prolapse?!l
U r delusional. There is nothing good about your insides falling out .
Right. I feel my inside falling out. Smh 😢

Someone has been working their core! Nice abs doc!
Thanks!
Would it be ok if i try this my baby is just one month old
I do have my postpartum patients do these. Always check with your OBGYN if you are not sure though.
Would I remove my pressary when doing these exercises?
I typically have my patients do them without the pessary.
@@drkristieennisInhate those th😮ngs. Even my snaller one pinchs and is sO hard to get ahold of. Why don't they make a remover gizmo? That little one get back too far n suction holds it 😮in. I gave up. Just have a blob of bladder sticking out until I push it hack in..
Some of these look dodgy for lower back?
It definitely depends on what’s going on in the lower back. I actually will use these exercises for the back as well if it’s the right situation.
Can this actually heal a level 2 prolapse ?
I'm honestly in so much pain and uncomfortable
Wondering the same thing
Would these be good for my daughter who is 12 week pregnant..first child?
Definitely have her check with her doctor to make sure exercise on her back is ok.
I’m always curious what that ink is when I see just a little peek of it. I always watch you just love your voice in your looks.
Ironman symbol with a shark:) I was told I would never run after an injury as a kid, so finishing and Ironman was a big deal. And I love sharks:)
Well this escalated quickly.
Are these safe during pregnancy?
It very much depends on the pregnancy and what your OBGYN believes in so always best to check with them.
The baby's safe in the.womb. Al this goes on in the vij.
I’m on stage 4 😢 they told me to have soon the removal surgery but I’m really scared. I’m 56 years old.
I’m sorry:( if the prolapse has reached an advanced degree, it does often require surgery. I always tell my patients that it never hurts to try the exercise though!
Removal! Your uterus .?
@@drkristieennis I am 35, pregnant, with one 17 month old. Never had any problems. Now some red egg shaped thing is poking out of my vagina. Am I grade four? Do I need surgery?
