It’s a good thing Joe put the real constructive criticism out there at that level, big artists need big criticism so they don’t stunt the game under them. Drake was skating by until then, ppl call it hate but they simply aren’t aware.
I watched another video that explained how when drake was first starting out, he wasn’t very welcomed by the old heads of hip-hop so now that he’s made it big he’s no longer interested in giving flowers to the old heads or getting their respect and is why instead of the traditional hip-hop media outlets he turns to the nontraditional ones but he low-key is still holding a grudge from that time hence why he’ll lash out on people like Joe Budden

The truth is Em got under his skin with that line about hits and smacking bitches. And Joe got under his skin about the quality of his music not being as good as his early career.
The Drake situation is weird though, Joe takes up free rent in his mind for some reason.
U rite! Rappers really care what Joe think man. They call him washed an all that but they know on that mic they can’t see him. It’s just not as widely known as it should be.
Crazy thing is Joe really wants Drake to get to that top tier of lyricism. If you read his criticism, its about content, same way he came at Em.
Sir must all your documentaries eat down like this? Yeesh!! 👑 I never left a video so satisfied.
See yall kids dont even realize that even Drake knows Joe was a god tier lyricist! He respects Joe and thats why it bothered him
Facts, that Mood Music series was influential to Drake ...Buddens’ early work -infusing emotion, depression and bars was top-tier.
Street rappers saying that drake should take the high road is crraazzyy 😭🤣
They know drake can't handle that smoke cause it's the dam fire
Taking a moment to commend you on the detailed information and also the style of your videos.. I know these edits and the research must take time bro but on behalf of all of us, the viewers... THANK YOU ❤️
This aged exceptionally well. The info here compared to what's going on now with Drake is pretty accurate. Sheesh‼
GREAT JOURNALISM and research bro! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. You gained a new follower here.
Drake is the Kevin Hart of rap. After peaking, he stopped putting in effort into his craft, and now he is a shell of his former self.
I stopped checking Drake albums out bcuz they started sounding like a bunch of song recorded over a year than a true cohesive work
@@dominiquejones3805bro you a hater get a life
@@dominiquejones3805true, drake doesn’t put effort into his albums anymore. He releases 2 a year. He needs to spend time on his albums
Good point 🤔
I'm sorry but was kevin hart ever funny?
Joe’s making a murderer track was so under appreciated.
Cause afraid was better
Money power respect, the last one is better
i dont think i understand...people complainin that drake sounds like a whiny ass toddler but the problem isnt drake here - its just that yall never realized hes always sounded like a lil whiny ass toddler....yall just didnt seee through him all these years? this aint abnormal he not off his game this IS his game he the goat of makin yall think hes got something to say when he never did
Thank You!!!!!😂😂😂
We all know that criticism hurts but Drake needs to learn to accept or deal with criticism because it’s not about him at all. Drake also needs to 100% know that what Joe Budden said is NONE OF HIS BUSINESS!!
Great video but I also would have added his Rap Radar interview where he revealed that he wanted to sound like Budden when he started. But still: amazing video - keep it coming
This aged VERY WELL😂😂😂
Re-watching this after Drake's....... *humbling experience* 😂😂😂
Drake mad cause he found the one person that don’t accept his hits and money as talent or artistry.
In the long run Joe is trying to push Drake to be better and not settle for just quick money stunting his creativity
for all the dogs is wacc AF
Drake the guy who got steam out of his ears when he angry
Remember everyone. Those of us who have been saying Drake is overly sensitive since he debuted haven't been proven right at all by the way he is still releasing songs dissing Pusha T years after he clearly lost that battle or beefing in like a 13 year old girl who was just dumped with a youtube music reviewer that dared not to give some of his music a glowing review 🤣
I've been binge watching Louasta's videos, & came across this one. I've gotta say, living in the aftermath of what happened almost 5months ago...this aged beautifully. 👌🏾
I was ready for a revisionist narrative. I'm glad I was disappointed this time. You're probably one of the very few Hip-Hop media UA-camrs who actually have all the pieces in this history and put them together in the way that tells the whole story. Well done, sir.
Dude that musical build up at the end was crazzzy 👏🏼🔥 😅😅
Drake sounds like a baby that's why asap won rihhana ❤ and drake got 💔 and he dissed her like he was a teenager 13 he must act his own age
What is "acting your own age" even mean? There's a model somewhere of how we are supposed to be at certain ages? No
@@outstandingcitizen2082there actually is. Its socially perceived that mid 30’s (Drakes age) your supposed to “have it all figured out” and be “very mature” but as time has shown over and over thats an unrealistic expectation
@@ldsjohnl have what figured out?
@@ldsjohnl having it all figured out and being mature are very subjective things. A "mature," "successful," person in America can be considered a clown in another country. A majority of successful older people in this country are immature clowns. Where's the objective model?
@@outstandingcitizen2082The exception to the rule doesn't make it. You're essentially trying to say that it doesn't stand that people should have a sense of maturity about them when approaching their 40's because some aren't at that point yet. Your argument doesn't negate the fact that generally speaking, you should have a sense of growth and maturity about you when you approach that age.
Yuuup! Keep em coming Lou! 🔥🔥🔥
The visuals are trippy af on shrooms but this is some good journalism 👏
Yo this video is so on point. Nothing but facts here! 🎯🎯🎯
i still think its crazy how much the internet clowned on Budden for chasing down those fans. Like, thats the proper thing to do. some dorks from the internet come around your house because of rap beef? you gotta let them know its not their place.
Drake forgot to change his tampon that day. I'm a fan of his older stuff but today he's a shell of an artist that forgot who he was because he's too busy being comfortable and culture vulturing. He's not hungry to drop good music anymore because he'll sell off name value these days.
Joe is right. The album is super mid and Drake is soft and creatively bankrupt. It's like he went for that Take Care sound in a way and flopped. Get it together Aubrey.
You can tell drake was bullied in school. He cant take criticism snd hes extremely fake in order to be popular
Subbed. I respect a UA-camr who does their research.
It's pretty funny when drake calls joe a failed rapper when drake used to rap like Joe. influencing the biggest rapper in the game is pretty significant and that's not even mentioning his classic mixtape series.
Great video. I enjoyed this.
No matter how big drake gets he knows he is hip hop but too big to be hip hop. I honestly think Joe might bother Drake bc Drake can’t be who he knows he has to be to get the respect he deserves from his peers bc numbers are more important
It’s a good thing Joe put the real constructive criticism out there at that level, big artists need big criticism so they don’t stunt the game under them. Drake was skating by until then, ppl call it hate but they simply aren’t aware.
The way drake holds grudges is like Tier Woods or Michael Jordan. "And I took that personally". It's why he's great.
Except Drake is not great. So there goes your argument.
Great video
I watched another video that explained how when drake was first starting out, he wasn’t very welcomed by the old heads of hip-hop so now that he’s made it big he’s no longer interested in giving flowers to the old heads or getting their respect and is why instead of the traditional hip-hop media outlets he turns to the nontraditional ones but he low-key is still holding a grudge from that time hence why he’ll lash out on people like Joe Budden
Amazing video! Well done!
Drake is a cuddle team leader
😂
Views was hard I loved it😊
Joe Budden is a one hit wonder.... to people that only listen to the radio.
I can listen to every album he made from No Love Lost and forward on repeat without skipping a track.
I'll never be this early to video again, feels good to early mann!
Wake and Afraid were 🔥🔥 They forever got me looking at Drake sideways for not responding on wax.
You can always rely on Louaista to put out consistent bangers 🔥🔥🔥
Drake don't want none of Joe because Joe will unleash his Blazin Move like he does in Def Jam Fight For NYC 😂
Calling Joe Budden a 1 hit wonder is almost like callin Project Pat a 1 hit wonder
This dude really is said no rapper has ever dropped 3 diss records in a month 😂. Obviously he's too young to remember the G-Unit wars with niggas back in the early 2000. New mixtapes dropping like every week. DJ Green Lantern was putting in so much work back then
Lox vs State Property Loxs vs G Unit
Drake's music: 🔄🔄🔄🔄
Sorry I meant the music Drake buys.
Drake is really a lame who grew up and got fame. Talented artist but way over sensitive to others criticism.
Drake wants respect so badly and tries to get it in the worst possible way using shit tactics and not being sincere for even a moment. People will never respect a fraud
This aged perfectly
Just from your 1st minute....you know nothing about Joe Budden or hiphop 😂😂😂😂😂😂
He's not too far off from the truth, but there was a decent amount of misinformation here. Specifically about Joe.
😂 Sheesh with the dramatic music
That's how u know drake don't write his shit. Never responded to Joe but had so many subliminals.
Y'all better respect Joe Budden. Drake was never in a Def Jam game, Budden was in TWO. He's only a one hit wonder to people who didn't grow up with that kind of hip hop. 😂 He was definitely apart of the culture.
Really well done, man!
I m sure he felt fans starting to view him in a different light after they listen to joe budden podcast .
Joe budden is messing more with his fans, more than someone like Kendrick ever could do, and I’m sure they don’t share a lot of fans in the first place . So there’s only so much a Kendrick or another “real” rapper could do to him. A pundit like joe budden is talking more directly to his fans I imagine ,
high speed chase with rocks is crazy
Those joe disses were criminal especially the wake
Solid review. Subscribed!
Didn’t know the weeknd was a rapper 😂
I had to search specifically for a video like this because I feel like no one ever talks about this beef
I essentially became a Joe Budden fan after seeing how good of a rapper he was
Slaughterhouse era joe budden murders drake lyrically every single time
Nah
Great vid,great analysis.
Drake will do everything but rap
For those who might disagree you gotta know, back in like 2009 Drake said he was a huge fan of Joe Budden and he was very inspired by him. So he does care a lot about what Joe thinks
That's a lie. joe budden is a no name rapper who eminem shined his light on.
@@lakcheong1499 Why don't u try to educate yourself on the matter before calling me a liar. There's literally a video of Drake and Joe in 2009 where Drake is fanning all over him
Joes right , drake sounds the same ... same sound , nothing new ,
Drake complimenting Tahiry the first time they met is next level slimy
This is shows how the power can be denied just by one attraction. Drake is one of the biggest musicians in the world for the whole history, and he still bothers about some podcast dude...
😂that podcast is big
Still not that big as Drake :)@@icetrip2417
"Ive seen budding careers" is a crazy bar considering what we know about him in late spring 2024 😂
Joe hit the nail on the head. He sounds like everyone else there is no progression
When I heard views & Weston Roads Flows I felt like I played them a million times those verses are so volcanic
