Hey Tim! This video really hit home for me, especially since I've been contemplating the idea of starting my own agency. The insights shared about the realities of running an agency, the challenges in client acquisition, and the financial dynamics are literally very eye-opening! The emphasis on becoming an expert first, either through freelancing or working for a small company, makes so much sense. It's like laying down a strong foundation before attempting to build a skyscraper. The concept of productized services and micro-education platforms as alternative paths to monetizing skills got me thinking outside the traditional agency model.
Hey there! Thanks so much for this, it means a lot that something I've made has had an impact! Best of luck with monetising your skills (I assume photography?) The longer I spend in business and researching these topics, the more I realise the opportunities are endless if you're willing to be creative!
I've been running my agency for almost a year, and after a lot of learning and refining, I've mastered my service and am now able to deliver results that clients love. I'm on track to hit my first $20k month. Most people assume that agencies start making a lot of money right away, but that couldn’t be further from the truth!
Crazy value again man ! 🚀 There not many youtuber teaching people how to make decisions for themselves, most push people to strat things that doesn't fit them just to sell something but knowing damn well that it's not made for everyone and that they should start by finding their unfair advantages and their skills first so I appreciate it 🙌🏾
Before clicking onto this video, I was expecting it to be one of 'those' videos iykyk, gladly i was wrong, the value you gave is insane man, very impressed.
It’s awesome that you broke down the actual margins of an agency. Most other videos just show Lambos and hype it up so you buy their course. Videos like this that actually dive into the nuts and bolts should be celebrated more 🎉.
Thanks! Yes I thought the realities of the margins really needed to be addressed. I had a lot of misconceptions about agencies when I started (and that was before they were popular on UA-cam). Thanks for watching!
Pivot! Appreciate your content, journey and hard work. The message here is down to earth, realistic and actually useful. Would love to see a deep dive on "Getting Good".
Thank you, I really appreciate the kind words. I'm trying very hard to make actionable advice that I wish I'd had earlier in my career, so I'm glad that's coming through a bit. I'll definitely have a think about the Getting Good video. It's an interesting topic for sure
I'm going to add you to my list of favourites vloggers, despite being around for just a few days, I love every kind of your content so far. Keep it up bruv🔥
In today's world there are so many ways of making money online that having an agency seems outdated. Twenty or ten years ago it was the move, today it takes too much time and small money compared to some other online businesses. It's be a fun adventure if done in a big city like Paris or London but we need (want) big bread asap.
Hi Tim! Great video by the way now i'm in a situation where I can't decide what to do. Can you advise me in which market to pursue, and basically what to do?
The videos you make will never get views, even though they are high quality. That is because theyre too specific and arent made for entertainment. Instead, i would recommend you start a video series where you make summary videos about books similar to the 12 year week. People absolutely love that and you are very good at making them. Believe me, ditch all the other video ideas. What you can do instead is add some of your tips into the book videos, giving more value, doing what you want and getting even more views.
Hey there! You’re right I know these will never be as popular, but this was a topic I thought was important to talk about. I think I’m going to alternate between book videos and some pieces like this so there’s something for everyone. Thanks for the feedback though, I appreciate it!
@@thill_in if you value this content, then no amount of views can compare! You seem to already understand this platform well and understand what you want and what you can achieve. I respect that, best of luck brother❤
@@thill_in I love your content style a mix of business and self help. That's different and unique from what's out here. I was hooked with the 12 week and that was it. Can you make a content on high value skills you think are worth learning.
@@thill_in Please keep doing what you are doing. I have no interest in starting an agency but I watched this video from start to end. Individuality is rare, you don't have to do what everyone else is doing just because they think it's the right thing to do
Thanks @mrasbon, I really appreciate that! I definitely can do, it'll probably be in a few weeks time but I'll add it to the list! Very glad you're finding value in what I make.

This is so true. Agency is not as easy as people show it to be. Thank you for saying that out loud.
Great video btw, good quality, greater content 🎉
Thats why most of them who say it’s easy are selling courses on “How to start an agency” instead now lol
Thank you, really glad you agree and I appreciate the support!

Mad informative (y) The exact opposite of Iman Gahzi's recent 'content' lol
Another great video, i am bingewatching your stuff at the moment! I don't need to pause for reading but hey Pivot anyway!
Thanks mate, I really appreciate that! You read faster than me then 😅
After watching your videos I'm like
“Man i need to have a chat with this guy”
“I want to talk business with him”
you got me thinking, i think it is still worth it for me to try since i am still 16

100%. It's not that it never worked, it's just that I think there are better options nowadays!
Thank you 😊. Please talk about curing age as well
i thought this was going to be another person lying and not telling the truth till benefit, couldn’t be more wrong, listen to this man
This was a great video! It was very reminiscent of Justin Welsh’s content - only in video format!
Wow thanks, that’s a great compliment! He makes awesome content. Really glad you found it useful!

it's a great video. Thanks so much
Glad you liked it!
Really informative video
Can these same issues apply to SEO agency?
Agency is just for cashflow so you don't have to go to a 9-5 and it can be 80% automated.
There’s no cash flow if you battle for getting a client
@@DylanPazclips no need to battle if your service is different, proven results and you use content/ads to get clients
nice, that’s exactly what I’ve been doing
Amazing, glad to hear it! What're you learning?
