screen time => content & privacy restrictions => content restrictions => websites => allow all websites ... the more specific way to allow back the greyed out Safari/Extensions settings (while keeping other forms of content & privacy restriction settings 'on')

I forgot the screen time password, is there anyway to enable extensions externally?
I'm not sure about that. However, it shouldn't be too hard to change the screen time passcode. See here: support.apple.com/en-us/HT211021

I don’t know of a way to check, but I’d recommend taking this problem to Apple since this tutorial didn’t seem to help. I’m not sure what’s happening, sorry.

+Tech Particle; I found I had this EXACT issue a couple of months ago, and ... though I didn't know why(nor was I very happy that several ad blocking extensions were greyedout🤬), I just 'stewed', and didn't do anything.
About 15 mins ago, I finally had enough. I tried Apple's site (I've used Macs and iOS devices since the Mac first came out), and found the 'support' site a place for people who either never owned a computer, i-device, or had a WinTel machine, and thought they could treat Macs the same (you can't 🤬
Not only that, the ONLY advice (for THAT specific problem, 'the extensions on iOS safari extensions aregreyed out, what can I do?') was ludicrous (it said that they weregreyed out because the builder of the app hadn't updated their app. It's got NOTHING to do with that).
I was getting really peeved, and I saw your video, and I said, 'what the frak, it's worth a shot's.

I did exactly what you said (with that Screen Time setting), and PRESTO! All's well!
I've no clue WHY the Screen Time > Content and Privacy settings would get SO involved (and I'd NEVER - EVER - touched it -Screen Time - before!
