Thank you for making this video. I also booked ronin top model, waiting for the delivery. That was the only con i found in ronin while test driving it, about the pillian comfort! Also i would like you to make videos about accessories which are must for a long ride. Love from dehradun

How do you about this backrest after a year now. Is it still intact & giving support to the pillion? How is the comfort currently?
I had a backrest installed on my Ronin at Motorcycle Accessories, JC Road, Bengaluru. I went with the other option - got 2 holes drilled into the pillion handle and the backrest fixed with 2 black screws.
Reasons :
1. It felt more stable as the support was from the 2 screws as well as from the tough handle itself.
2. Better look from the back as the full length of the screws cannot be seen.
3. The pillion handle is strong but doesn’t look as great as the rest of the bike. So didnt care for holes being made on it as I might have it replaced in the future.

Ps : Any idea on sari footrest ? Family pressure to get it done but couldn’t find any available option from other bikes which works for Ronin.

I got TVS original launched BR from TVS connect app and that was the last one. They discontinued it. Now we only have option for rack fitted backrest from TVS.

Yes it tilt backwards after 1-2 months but later I fix it to the normal, its just very easy to DIY.

Actually accessories looks better in black color bike.. No hard feelings just my opinion
I am facing a start issue in my Ronin.
When I'm in a signal I kill the engine using the kill switch. Then when I try to start the engine again. The self start doesn't happen in the first try. It takes 2 self-switch presses to start.
Do you have any idea why this is happening? Or any possible solution
No idea, please contact to service centre.
Its a common thing in most bikes. The petrol evaporates from the pipes when you are stopped and there is heat and sunlight. When you start the petrol flows through the pipes and in second try the bike starts.
Ronin comes with silent start. Just press and leave the self start button next time while you try. And wait for half a second. It will start. I think you are confused and it’s not an issue that you are pointing out.
Shift to neutral then start

Bhai Bike ki seat close krne mein bohot dikkat aa rhi hai ,mtlab easily band ny hoti agr ye normal hai to batao
Bhai ye dikkat mujhe bhi hui thi, lekin aap ek bar dhyan se dekh ke lgao, niche hole me sahi se set hone pe aram se lg jati hai.
@@Rashdeep mai to replace krvane ki hi soach raha hu seat abhi 23 ko hi li hai , Showroom walo ne bola yhi technique hai but the thing is easily band honi chahiye "fist ko pura dum laga k press krna pad raha hai tab jaake band hoti hai isse to seat hi kharab ho jayegi kuch mahino mein

Functional but doesn't have the asthetic looks. Just found out one co named SIRA who manufacture luggage carriers ,top racks who possibly can supply carrier cum back rest if there can adequately demand for it. Seen one carrier for TVS Apache from SIRA Co in an u tube video which looks good and would contact them to supply for my Ronin. Can Google to find this co .

I am fond of TVS as I am riding them since 2003. I was almost sure to buy Ronin, but stuck because of its accessories availability. TVS has worked really well in front profile of the bike but absolutely neglected the rear profile, particularly the grab rail makes this bike looking pretty cheap and astonishingly they don’t have any proper aftermarket grab rail cum backrest. As I am going to spend 206k in this I am concerned about fitting such a backrest where bolts are clearly visible 😢
