Good impersonation of Larouche. I shared a cell with him during his 1992 presidential campaign, and got to know him well. When I first met him two years earlier, upon his arrival in federal prison, I knew little about him, and thought him to be a nutcase. But as I got to know him better, I realized that he was actually a brilliant man, very intelligent and well read. I didn't agree with his politics and we disagreed on many things, but I developed a great deal of respect for him. I also think he's a prime example of the saying "there's a fine line between genius and insanity." I can't really say which side of that line he fell on.
LaRouche's politics always seemed synthetic and not real to me. It was difficult for me to accept that he and his followers actually believed any of the bizarre claims they made. It reminded me more of a dirty tricks campaign by LaRouche registering as a Democrat, but then espousing outrageous and bizarre political statements and views which seemed designed to actually hurt the Democratic Party. To me, he seemed like a sort of political troll, placed there by some interest to cause political damage, with no real intentions to win office for himself. But, then his later conviction on the credit card charges made me even more confused as to what LaRouche even meant in the first place. He started out on the far left as a Trotskyist Communist, but then drifted into a bizarre far right philosophy, that his followers only seemed to accept and follow, rather than question. He was always extreme in his views, as well as a bizarre political entity. One of the strangest political phenomenas I have ever witnessed.
That's because you were only given an extremely biased view of him by the news. By the mid 1970's the order went out that all news outlets were to never report anything LaRouche said or did and only mention him in the worst possible way.

La Rouche, although ridiculed and a bit of a nut, was in fact correct in the big picture. He actively called for an end of the Cold War and cooperation with China and Russia and felt the US had become a tool for bankers and oligarchs and was being run as the continuation of the British Empire (benefitting the same dynastic banking and aristocratic families).
Where did he call for "cooperation with China and Russia" in the 1980s? He was claiming even under Gorbachev that Moscow was plotting to invade Western Europe. He established contacts with anti-communists across the globe during that decade, and regularly accused critics of Reagan's foreign policy of being dupes or agents of the KGB.
@@DesertSky928 First off, where is your evidence that it's "based on LaRouche's ideas"? Second, that has nothing to do with the fact that in the 1980s the LaRouchites were denouncing the Communist Party of China and advocating its overthrow.
