    ■Sermon Summary
This sermon gives us hopeful light. It addresses suffering, resilience, and finding peace in challenging times.
Ms. Luna's sermon, based on John 14:1-7, emphasizes finding inner peace despite suffering. She references historical and personal hardships, like Anne Frank's resilience during Nazi persecution and her own struggles with loss. Luna suggests that Jesus' "many rooms" represent a present state of peace within us, accessible even in dark times. The sermon concludes by reminding us that this peace is available to all, offering comfort amid life's challenges.
    ■About Today's Preacher
"I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. I consider myself a cradle Catholic who has enjoyed spending the last five years deconstructing my spiritual beliefs and I am happy to have landed at FIUCC. I attended Gonzaga University, where I took up to 500 level courses in theology and philosophy. I obtained my law degree from the University of Washington. I’ve spent my 25-year career in public service as a prosecutor, while juggling the demands of four kiddos (two girls and two boys) ages 15-22. I’m fortunate to have Chris as my partner in life, who keeps me grounded. I enjoy running, baking, calligraphy and good food!"
