It all looks sooo delicious. All that pizza in one day gives me indigestion just watching you. I don't know how you do it. Always love your videos and storytelling.
Love it guys! Some of my favorites are Denino's, Joe's, John's of Bleecker Street, Lucali, Sal & Carmine's, Ace's, Paulie Gee's, Best, Keste, but still need to get to Luigi's! If you're looking for a dollar slice, Fresh 99 is the only way to go. Other legendary places; Di Fara, Totonno's, Patsy's, Prince Street (not like it used to be, but still good!), Spumoni Gardens, Louie & Ernie's, and so many more. Glad you guys could come to town and get a great taste of it!
Always enjoyed your videos, very useful to see your recommendations for the cities in the UK whenever I took trips away. I would love to join you on your tours, especially this one across the pond! Epic pizza location choices, true institutions for the locals. If only we could replicate the same standard over here. Solid work 👌
As a Williamsburg local, I'm loving the respect for the Williamsburg pizza scene. I feel like often it's relatively ignored by people who aren't specifically Brooklyn locals. I have one more recommendation that is my favorite spot in Williamsburg. Williamsburg Pizza on Union and S 3rd St. Their Margherita slice is absolutely incredible and I've never had a slice from them I didn't like.
You guys are the best, inspiring me to make travel content and hopefully go and be a fat git eating 50kg of pizza and 20L of pale ale in NY one day too 😂
@@randyschwaggins New Haven has about 5 spots and 1 style of pizza. New Haven has the highest batting average but can’t compete with the volume and variety NYC has.Brooklyn alone beats New Haven
@@randyschwaggins Haha! It's all good. I live in Chicago and there is so much hype about the deep dish pizza. We usually only eat it once in a while and many Chicagoans don't even like it. I love NY pizza. I've never had New Haven pizza.
Love you guys. Also my man calls me "Pickle".... like haven't heard him say my actual name in 4 years haha. Just a weird detailed connection that I love about the gentleman known as "Pickle" in your EXCELLENT show.
Only a bit surreal watching the review of L'Industrie from my apartment above L'Industrie. I highly recommend it to my friends, although I recommend TOPJAW more 👊
New York pizza? Don't make me laugh, buddy. Chicago's deep dish is where it's at. Giordano's deep dish is a work of art, with its thick, crispy crust and flavorful sauce. Buddies is a treasure as well, with its amazing pizzas and friendly atmosphere. New York pizza was good back in the day, but it can't hold a candle to Chicago and its phenomenal deep dish pies. New York can keep their soggy pizza, let us enjoy our deep dish greatness in peace.
So, you didn't go to Arthur Avenue in The Bronx? Also known as the "real" NYC Little Italy. Ingredients are flown in directly from Italy: San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, olive oil. No "second best" on Arthur Avenue. Which stores? All of them: Puglia's, Half Moon... any store or restaurant you go into will have superb food. Next time you visit, you'll know better.
The Scarrs team make very good pizza, you're right. But they HaTe cameras and would not allow us to film. Due to the quality of our production, we can only feature places that allow us relatively free reign. As good as Scarrs is, we're not prepared to sacrifice the quality of our content in order to feature it. No idea why the team hate cameras so much, but it's a shame for both us and them.
@@topjaw shame about that! Maybe could have done an honorable mention ..? or something towards them. Personally I find their milling of their own flour and sourcing top tier ingredients admirable. But indeed, if you cant film, then alas .. shame
Topjaw, I’ve been a fan for 5 years now. I get your editing style, but being at a legendary pizza place served by the legend himself Luigi, you should have given him the time he deserved in the video. Cutting him off while he’s talking to you about his son, he bought out a pizza for you personally and specially cut it in 3 for you guys, but yet again flew over it in the editing, it’s a little disrespectful.
Title is misleading! 20 slices in 12 hours. ANYONE can ORDER 20 slices in 12 hours. How many did you finish? What a scam title. Gotta get those clicks. Got me.
Why is this called "New York Pizza Slices..."...? You spend almost the entire video in Brooklyn. And then you go to John's. Guys, love ya, but John's is a cliche tourist place. Nobody in NYC actually goes there for pizza, unless they're 22 and don't know where to actually go. Come on, guys. You're awesome, but an experienced New Yorker...ie, Manhattanite, could show 10 amazing places off the top of our heads without hardly thinking about it. I'm available:) Cheers.
the amount that jesse can eat and drink is truly remarkable. well done lad.
L’Industrie is the best slice I’ve had in my life. Pizza perfection.
Great video as always gents, Luigi’s looks immense. Joe’s, Di Fara, Lucali needs to be on part 2 🙏
Luigi’s portion of the was so heart-warming! Dying to go there now!
Thank you for going to Luigi’s! It’s the epitome of what NYC pizza is supposed to taste like
My new favorite channel. Anthony Bourdain vibes. Amazing production guys!
Ah Enok, love that!
Bit of a stretch, no one can compare to the legend himself. But these lads are doing food reviews with their own cool spin
It's pure quality and relevant - I love your videos! We really just need more of them. 😊
Daydrinking and Pizza what a nice way to spend your day
you cant properly judge a pizza without trying the crust

Superb! Not sure what happened when the gem lettuce came out in this pizza review 😂 but banging edit once again 🙌🏼
when you're 16 beers deep at 2pm eastern the lines between a NYC slice + a gem lettuce become blurred

I stayed in Williamsburg near Graham avenue and there was an amazing pizza place, can't remember the name
This new york series is sending me bros
@topjaw you have to visit New Haven, CT to get the real “best pizza.”
White clam at Pepe’s. I’m drooling in NC right now thinking about it.
You open at Best Pizza and Frank, the UA-cam god of pizza, wasn't there? SLAP!
"You giving up smiling for lent or something..."😆😆

MORE J&P VIDEOS PLEASE!!!! LOVE THE VID! ❤️
For me in NYC when I go it's
Best pizza
Johns of bleaker
Joe and pats
Scars
Prince st for the square pepperoni

But what if you really like a NY style pizza place IN Chicago 😂
OK I promise not to mention Chicago.

If you stayed at The Ludlow, great choice, but you missed Scarr's which is so close to the hotel!
Luigi's is an institution. Now that sadly Dom from Di Fara has passed, Luigi's has my favorite cheese slice in the city.
Mate, she is absolutey stunning 8:30
Variety is the spice of life but you gotta have the cheeseburger of the place for comparo, ole margs is the key
Granma and Sicilian are different.
Also, granma means fresh, diced garlic in the sauce.
Las Vegas next lads
