Man, June was gnarly. The traffic was the most insane I’ve ever experienced since starting last January. Those cars were murderous. I hear you on that lawsuit that is mad wack. I had a similar thing happen but I was the victim - in January this year I collided into an opening door of an Uber / Lyft car parked way too far from the curb, went flying off the bike, the passenger the opened the door was giving herself therapy about how she hates seeing bikers get thrown off their bikes, as I was laying there writing in pain and I couldn’t get up fast enough for these snobby ass Hell’s Kitchen fucks. This can be a gnarly as hell gig at times, best wishes for a good summer - I have a good feeling that our reserved hours can be very stable in keeping above $20/hr - got a $35 order yesterday in Uber out of the blue, for like 1 mile in FiDi (about time they paid down there lol) was dragging around 15/hr till that happened and by the end of the day I was quite happy with the earnings especially in contrast with last July… 🤞🤞🤞

if you're in the program, cuz then you make $25 an hr plus tips but if u have a car uber has its benefits too because driving mode has these errors where you can get offers that are 2-3x the hourly rate which is insane and I don't see ppl talking abt it which makes me think drivers are trying to stay quiet because its been abt 2 months with some of these orders going insane. I kinda feel bad for bikers cuz when it rains on driving mode ur making 3x as much as they do but they don't get any pay raise with the weather.
