I love how dominant trip time has become in your consideration. SO many terrible orders pre-mandate... now, you phone could go "BING! Take this ring to the volcano in Mordor... estimated trip time, twenty hours" and you'd be like, "Hell yes! Accept!"
Pro tip: Whenever I pick up a order, I go on google street view and enter the address of where I'm delivering to. Helps a lot when dropping off so you know what side of the street and what the building looks like.
Got access to Planner this morning on Friday. I guess I'm the Gen Access teir. Could only sked 20 hours for next week which sucks. But I have a feeling that most people can still get on because the demand will be there, especially during dinner times. Cause DD been really show out here in Queens.
i was able to schedule thursday for 24 hours it think... which, combined with doordash should be OK for me. I avoided signing up for busy days like with bad weather because you likely will be able to sign in regardless of being scheduled
But why did UA-cam send me this vid notification as though u just posted it or like it is recent. WTH I was wondering what happened to the e-bike u got now
I don’t own the Whizz e-bike. But I was spreading the word about the storm and storm-2. I usually deliver on electric unicycles. From time to time I deliver with the Whizz bikes
This week allowed us to schedule for next week, but we haven't actually worked Uber's scheduled shifts yet, so I can't tell you exactly how it's going to affect me. We start our scheduled shifts the week of 1/8/24. Obviously, it's going to cut down on flexibility and likely earnings since drivers will be restricted -- it's hard to say to what degree yet...
hey dude. i enjoy your content. i like to see people doing deliveries in brooklyn, i have a question. can you still go online with uber eats without using the planner? and would you still get trips
supposedly, they will only allow you to go online without a schedule if "not enough drivers are on the road" -- in most cases, it will be busy at that point in time. It's going to be similar to how doordash and grubhub do it currently
i only do uber eats dont do doordash at all even though i have an account. so now they paying 17$ per hour for doordashing schedules correct? not active hour but online yes?
Because I do my videos in parts, you'll see the day's earnings on part 3 or part 4. Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub all require that you schedule your shifts in NYC
You got to stealth camp and still do uber eats for a living in NYC? You're living the life. That's exactly how I'd want to live life if I got to live how I wanted. Van life is too oversaturated now.
I came from a "normal job" that wasn't paying too much better, and I liked the flexibility and freedom of doing this more. At the time I also wasn't motivated to change. I'm getting back into programming. Hopefully I can land something there in the near future. I realize food delivery isn't a long-term aspiration, especially as you get older and closer to retirement, etc
@@ETAonTheEUC I’m from Europe, so I’m not too familiar with the wages in the US, but isn’t $30/hour relatively decent even for New York? And I’m guessing in the winter months you can go higher than that.
30/hr is good for food delivery, yes. But it's 30/hr for active time, which is the time from when you accept an order to when you drop it off. It doesn't include the time when you're waiting on orders. So it's probably closer to mid-20s/hr, unless it's busy and you're staying busy

LOL @2:33
That is Totally my Google map strategy. "comon google. . . figure out where we at . . ?" 😅
I had the same experience with that first building. I had to ask the security guard but luckily he was nice enough!
15:53 scenes from Once Upon a Time in America
lol i knew it
@@ETAonTheEUC well actually, it looks like you're on Pearl. That famous scene was shot near Gleason's Gym on Water and Adams.

good idea! sometimes i do the 360 view thing if I arrive and can't find building
Dang that lady’s look at you in Juicy Cheesesteaks (yum) was both hilarious and scary. Hope u have a lot of success in the new year!
thanks! you too!
When are we gonna see you deliver in the Bronx?😏
why does everyone want to see me deliver in the bronx? lol.
That's cool you reach delivery audience with EUC content
Yeah, it's pretty unique :)
Would never guessed you were a van lifer, cool story looking back now 👍

How does the planner affect you ? Or it doesn't it affect you at all? For Uber eats

Do top dashers can go online anytime or they still gotta wait an schedule
Not sure. I haven't become a top dasher yet
@ETAonTheEUC 😭😭😈 no way u said in the video ur ap is 76
i think you need 95% AR for top dasher though?
@@ETAonTheEUC that's wild 😭

i think everyone is confused by it in nyc. As far as I know, Uber and doordash are doing 29.93/active time, and grubhub is doing ~18/hr overall time
@@ETAonTheEUC so doordash is doing active time as well i see. i jus reserved my times on Uber and they only gave me 5 hours
How much did you make bro and do we get schedule on app in nyc?

hey man long does the battery last on that euc ?
For food delivery, 12+ hours
wow that's impressive@@ETAonTheEUC
yeah, it's pretty amazing i agree

Why dontt you work a normal job? Why is working food delivery better?

Actually, when you start getting social security (which doesn’t pay s*•t) food delivery is a pretty good option to make ends meet…
