Wondering on one thing, I'd like to have rope physics again, and a swing with a player, problem is, now everything is using a physics room, mine isn't and can't find any of the GM8 tutorials or aspects on it to get something working again. Wondering if you can lend a hand?
You don't really need physics for that. I put it on my to do list, since you are not the only one asking. But that seems to be a bit more complicated (I guess), so don't expect it in the near future.
I just finished your tutorial. I used it for a squirrel throwing nuts from a pine-tree. I have it working like yours for now, but I'll need to implement it within my enemy parent, and my states machine. I'd like to make the squirrel move to a different x and y, as well I readjust his range depending on the players position. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thanks! 🥰
Uff, in that case I can give you an easy (fix) for your problem or I need to do an advanced video (dynamic) on a grenader. -> Easy fix: Make zones and then check all of them, then have 1 extra variable (zone) for which change the direction and speed. So if the player is in lets say the first zone, make the direcion and speed fitting to zone 1 etc.
