Thanks for taking the time to comment. I used to travel regularly on the 126 units, not the most reliable! And, if the DMU didn't break down, it would often be frozen points!
Most enjoyable and quite atmospheric... b&w always 'ages' photos. A pleasant change too that you 'focused' on rolling stock and goods vehicles. Gone are the old 16T minerals once seen on the entire network. Thanks for taking the time to share 👍
@@Geo46115 Thanks for your kind comments. These were actually taken in B&W as I did the developing and printing myself. I scanned the negatives which gives a better result than using the prints.
I really enjoyed this. It's so good to see a variety of motive power, not the class 66's we have nowadays. There's a 126 DMU preserved on the Bo'ness railway.
Fascinating footage and very interesting. Thanks for sharing 👍
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for commenting.
Loved these 126 units . Thanks for posting. It is amazing how much railway we’ve lost post Beeching

Agreed; we just didn't appreciate it at the time.
No weeds or bushes anywhere. Not like todays weed fest !
Good point! Thanks for your comment.
