BOT says it does not oppose the digital wallet program

An alleged “secret document” from the Bank of Thailand (BOT) detailing its gripes about the digital wallet initiative is reportedly circulating. The central bank has clarified that it does not oppose the digital wallet program but held a differing view on the target group that will receive the 10,000-baht handout.
