Great video mate. Its big map when you compare it to truck driver. The game is 1 month old we just need to give them time to fix bugs and add more things to the game. Yesterday was patch came out 1.2 and fix some issues. There is day time on the track dashboard if you have keyboard you can zoom in by letter Z. in the new patch you can see the day time and everything in the dashboard when you insert your card and go up or down and see more details of the dashboard and the navigation now redirect you. Keep up the good work mate 👍
Definitely, the features and content is already there. Just needing those final few adjustments to iron out all the little issues and it's going to be amazing. I hope they do add some more trucks in I the future and maybe some over sized loads (if those aren't in the game currently). Glad the update helped with the tachograph, alot more user friendly to see what's going on. Appreciate the comment 🙏❤

Its a really good game, with huge potential. Its already a way better game than Truck Driver (although truck driver has better graphics). I believe some things have been fixed now, although I have been away from the game for a while due to moving.
My friend just got this game yesterday. He played it and says it cool. After i heard from him, i think i should give this game a try but i dont have a ps4 ;-;
I hope they add multiplayer so you can start a company with buddies or just drive with them

i just buyed this game and it’s soo fun
busses don't have the same speed restrictions as trucks 😉 also a bus overtaking a truck is common where I live on the highway

The PS5 4K 30 fps version of On the Road is not bad and pretty good at times. My biggest issue is the blinking background graphics in the distance. They need to fix that distracting issue. Otherwise, gigantic game, and the ability to get out and explore from your truck for a km or so is really cool. There's no weather so far though, even though I have windshield wipers.
SCS's games have flickering textures too, soo...

pc is nice but ps has a solid community
Got this game today, ok some of the graphics might be a bit ps3, but I’ve enjoyed it, might have to get a steering wheel as it will make it even better

I think the game is great even with it's bugs, so I hope that they improve it to make it even better. You can get your satnav to reroute by adding your headquarters to your route, then you can take it back off again. You can do multi drops, you can also do multi loads for the same drop. There is day and night, also rain. I hear there will be an update tomorrow, 17/03/21 so hopefully some of the bugs will be fixed.
I agree, it's an amazing trucking simulator even with its current issues, which can be developed further as the bases / blueprint is already here. Oh I will need to try that, thanks for letting me know! Really cannot wait for this game to develop 😊
@@SYREKZZ they will get better with time, just because ETS2 and ATS are very good doesnt mean SCS started making great trucking games from the start, like ETS 2 is still developed and updated all these years later. Its good that PS5 has a trucking game now. Has some neat features from what i have seen and wish i could have them in ETS2/ATS. I will get this but only when i get PS5...who knows when.

You can drive 90 on the motorways. Even when there is a speed camera you won’t get penalised

I don’t get the Change mode confirm mode bit at the start I’m stuck
The AI are very aggressive most of the time they don't even acknowledge you on the road
They do need some work, hopefully that can be sorted in the future. Noticed also, they instantly stop to a stand still, etc.

I got this game but the bug I kept finding was I couldn’t get in and out of the truck even when clicking x whole looking at the door so couldn’t fill truck or even load it or unload it is anyone having this issue

Yeah, no... I don't really particularly like the game. Tried to come to terms with it for about an hour without even being able to get my first assignment. So I left it, maybe I'll get back to it, we'll see.
At the moment, I would Much rather see that they released ETS 2 on consoles than spending my time trying to get my head around On The Road.

The new update has made it easier to see / use the tachograph. Down on dpad, tachograph, and scroll through the menu list to the mode / action you want

I just got the game but I'm finding it frustrating because I seem unable to get out of the truck. Can someone please help me out

In the PS5 version, once you're able to free roam and select logistic deliveries, I stop the truck, then press in the Parking brake. Then press X to hop out of your truck. X to get back in when near the door. You can walk for a good kilometer or so away from your truck until you reach an invisible limit. A really unique, cool feature to be able to get out of your vehicle compared to some games.
My fiance is playing this for the first time, he keeps on getting penalized

The company that worked ON THE ROAD is a very good and serious company that developed a train simulator for the German state railways, called ZUSI 3, where it is actively used for train driver training! True, they focus less on the beauty of the graphics and more on the real and realistic conditions in the simulator. I like it a lot and will buy it now, at a big discount because I think it's worth every cent and to me it looks far better than Truck Driver in all segments! Unfortunately, I was very disappointed that there is no ZUSI 3 for ps4/5 because it is the best train simulator on the market, pro! And, perhaps the most important thing, there is no DLC every month like TSW and TS! And of course everything works as it should, not like on the mentioned simulators where you just try to make as much money as possible and the bugs are almost never fixed (I mean Dovetail). I think it's worth about €20, what's the current price, it's worth every cent, that's my personal opinion, I'm not generalizing or imposing it on anyone, I'm just giving my opinion! ❤🤍💙👌👍

Does this truck game actually have force feedback for wheel and manual with clutch? Just wondering because Truck Driver was absolute crap and didnt have any effort put into it

Over the road is stupid. Every time it asks me to close the cargo bay doors, it asks me to open them again. And then it wants me to drive the the cardio doors open. What the heck??

I'm no graphics snob but this game is hideous.
Once out of cities/towns the graphics do improve. Buts it’s a factor of having slightly bad graphics with a lot more content, a huge map, etc. Over better graphics, with far less content and a map you can travel across in 8mins (truck driver) where as in on the road, it takes between 3-4hours to travel across a map. I much prefer On The Road for those reasons, more content, huge map and graphics can always be improved later with patches in the future.
I have truck driver and I don't enjoy it. Should I get this instead? It's currently 28$ on Microsoft store, xbox

Nice video bud, but as far as the game goes, complete and utter trash. I wish i had seen this video a ear ago before I wasted 30 bucks on this game. I believe there's been 2 updates since its came out, and absolutely nothing that you've mentioned in your idea has been addressed or added to the game. Still no way no knows if you're driving "card" is in or out, still no way to set a way point without taking a job first, still no eta or milage countdown after taking a job. The steering is absolutely trash, takes forever to turn, then all of a sudden it catches, and hard angle turns causing you to crash, completely unbalanced. And don't even get me started on the outside view camera and outside camera view angle changing, absolutely unbearable.
This game had SO much potential, so sad it turned out the way it did, here we are a year later, if they haven't addressed ANY of these major issues by now, they never will, this game is as is, and will never be better. Just tried it again yesterday for he first time in a ear, which is what inspired me to UA-cam some tutorials on it, thought maybe I'm just an idiot and don't know how to play it, but nope, its not me, its the trashy game. Its a damn shame too, cause without ATS ETS ever coming to console, this was our only best hope at a simulator truck diving game... oh well I guess🤷♂ anyone else have a better experience with this game...?
And yes, I went ham and hard with my critique of the game, but that's just because my expectations were so much higher, and the game was so much worse than i thought even humanly possible. I had such high high hopes
