I have this on PS4. It's a good game. It has some weird bugs or glitches, for example when you park on the designated truck parking area near a gas station, save the game and load it again, your truck is bouncing up and down for a moment, and nothing works at first. Sometimes the tachograph doesn't respond. Both these problems usually only last a few seconds, it's as if the game has to reset something first. Traffic can also be weird. Sometimes a car in front of you on the highway will just stop for no reason at all and you crash into it. It doesn't happen often, but it's annoying when it does. I would have liked to see pedestrians in the cities. The only thing "alive" in the game are other cars and sometimes you see an airplane. The world seems a bit "dead", there's nobody visually at work anywhere. But I do like the game. It's relaxing and still demands a bit of planning and management. The trucks have nice details. The sounds are good enough too. Overall I give it a 7/10. Not great, but good enough. Would be a great game if only they would improve some minor things. Perfect games don't exist.
@spiderman3309 somewhat free roam but not completely, if you go too far from your own truck you will touch an invisible wall and cannot move further, also some parts of the grass off road are not solid so you might fall OOB

Yeah. It’s just painful to watch videos of ETS2, seeing how damn awesome it looks. But it’s not available for Xbox SX. It feels like those who make it couldn’t give a flying F*** about console. Really damn annoying. Console is really lacking a proper truck game.

It hardly has recognised my wheel drive even it's a Thrustmaster T300RS(old but it is fine as gold). Better is Bus Simulator but that one where is MERCEDES bus on cover, even you can buy immediately map unlock, so you have few hundreds of stops and it is possible only 3 more players to drive for you on multiplayer. Also there are just a 3 brands. Merc. Benz, MAN and Scania but it can be kind of fun to drive it if you have a good imagination so you can do whatever you want.

I really love the different angles compared to Ets2 (and Ats). Last week I have been playing Trucks and Logistics simulator where you have to load cargo with a forklift yourself into a van or truck. In Alaskan road truckers you have to cook your own meal and rest and repair. In mudrunners you can get really stuck and have to figure a way out. In this game you get out open the truck sign the papers. All games in progress. Love it. Keep m coming! ❤👍🏻
I like On The Road. I downloaded it then played it yesterday for about three hours. I wasn't keen on the handling at first, but soon got used to it. It's a good, substantial game. It'd be nice if they'd polished it a bit more, though.
i just bought this and am loving the simple-minded nes of this game. when you have a comfy rig, its actually a relaxin game, once you get the steering kinks all worked out. I am running the PS4 edition and a basic wheel setup. all the reviewers seemed to have given up on this game right out the gate lol
This game at its launch was so bad that Microsoft created a region block and it never ran on consoles and never will run here in Brazil. Honestly, today I approve of this 100%.

its a work in progress , there are some nice features in the game ,which scs should put in there games ,but i enjoy playing all kinds of truck driving games , this is mostly basic on a trucking business / owner driver , .The game could do with a lot most mixed cargo,s some offroad deliveries to farms , logging sites building and constuction sites , with mud , water ect , forest driving would also make the driving fun , .AS an ex pro truck driver , most truck games only stick to motorway driving , a roads ,but not many b roads tight inclosed roads and difficult places to get to ,thats where i enjoy munrunner sim because with using mods i can do both kinds of driving plus use different equipment ,but this game is basically a copy of eurotruck with a long way to go to catch up.
I agree this is a game to keep an eye on, but it is still in progress. Nowadays I suggest new truckgamers to start with the Truck and logistics game and after that EurotruckSimulator2. When I started playing ETS2 my respect and understanding for pro Truck drivers grew a lot. I started admiring the skills when driving backwards with trailers in tight spaces. And more important grew more patiënt for the job and handlings Truck drivers have to do in their daily job.❤
thanks for the review. I bought the game few days ago via playstation store, on offer at roughly £17.50. there still plenty of bugs but are not that bad. I am totally addicted to the game. I do have a red warning 'transmission in rank mode', don't know what to do but i can drive around with it. audio settings and sliders don't really work on ps5, i trurned down some volumes to get rid of the rain noise, but nothing seems to work. I can't find where to save the game, i think it does it automatically on ps5 as I haven't lost any progress. overall i really enjoy the game. if you go for a lot of money on your delivery the actual route does go on and on which is great as otherwise the game would be too quick & easy.
Great video as always. I haven't played it for ages because numerous times I'd spend hours in game, buy multiple things and earn lots of money, then all of a sudden it would glitch where the truck trailer was like it was on ice and wouldn't go in straight lines. Then I had to restart the career. Not sure if u have witnessed this before but if so has it been fixed?

Wouldn't hurt if you have a wheel and shifter to practice with, I used to drive truck irl and would recommend this game, ETS2 and ATS on PC for anyone wanting to simulate what the real deal is like.

Three years, I'm guessing US military? Rostock is in the eastern part of Germany, on the Baltic Sea, about halfway between Poland and what was the inter-German border. So, pretty much north central coast of the former GDR.
Been playing it on pc few times and like most games they push out new content rather than go slow and fix the basics first, there's small issues that's irritating but overall I really like the fact that you can interact with details around the truck! One common thing with all these games is that all drivers are homeless and have no base, ETS2 and ATS has garages but can't interact with things and is not very realistic except for the driving part but this game needs some basic clean up and agarage where you start from and return to and where you could maintain your fleet and crew..
@BigrigfrostyGaming I have tired everything moving the seat right forward turning the truck off to putting into in to neutral and still can't get out the truck I can't even do jobs as can't walk out annoying much
@@BigrigfrostyGaming what platform do you play on? I play on PS five and I have shifter that connects directly to my wheel and it has 12 gears and an ear brake on it. It works for all of my other games but not for on the road.

Does this have a day/night cycle? I’d be playing ATS if my laptop hadn’t died after 3 years of daily gaming at 95°C. I’m going to build a budget build with an upgrade path. Should be back up on PC within the next 6-7 months. So I’ll be getting it on my 3 year old Series X in the interim. However once my PC is built, I’m chucking this POS Xbox into the garbage. As it’s got too many problems to pass onto anyone else. I’ll be buying a dedicated 4k Blu-ray player, the Panasonic DP-UB820.

I like this game but i keep having this problem where when im driving, my truck keeps randomly stalling. Resetting the truck doesnt fix it either.
That I've never had happen so not sure how to fix it, sorry.

Does the trucks have a Heater u can turn on .
The only game that has that feature and most small features to interact with is Alaskan road truckers.

I got this game 3 days ago. And I have made countless saves because of bugs and the game just NOT saving my progress. I'll wake up just to load the game up, then it says "START NEW GAME". I can't deal with this I have already uninstalled the game. Worst purchase of 2023 so farrrrr
