Great information, one piece of advice about recording, I think you should record every single time. Police are supposed to de-escalate situations and your only proof is your recording even if the cop has a body cam that is not so easy to get or winds up missing.

I’m surprised that you are advising people to answer an officer’s questions. Every attorney I’ve ever heard speak on this says remain silent

Why would you ever answer the question: "Have you been drinking?" Shouldn't you refuse to answer questions like that?

You do not need to roll your window down. All this does is give the cop the opportunity to reach in and open the door.

Most of the time, the cop wants the window all the way down to smell etc but also as a power trip.

One more thing: if asked, 'Do you know why I stopped you?' DO NOT GIVE A REASON, as it will amount to a confession. The better answer is: 'I'm sure you're going to tell me.'

Sure. Start by being a smart-azz by answering like that.

@@michaelsalcido3736 Go ahead and confess to the infraction he intends to write you up for, then complain about the ticket.

"Do you ow why I stopped you?"
There is no possible way for you to know why they pulled you over. Unless you can read minds. And that's horse shit. No one can read minds.

I'm from CA, the California Highway Patrol did Public Safety announcements on the subject of when and where's to stop, especially if you are a lone woman. What are your thoughts?

I agree you should be polite and not combative for the sake but “Did you know you were speeding?” or “do you know how fast you were going?” I disagree, I don’t think these are good questions to answer.

You left out the storage charge on the tow. I’m Boston it’s a scam, within a couple days the tow lot owns the car on lot charges. Working class folks, in Boston, get your car out of the lot, rapido!!!!!

No if they pull you over for a tail light they do NOT have a right to order you to exit the vehicle they have a right to detain you for as long as the original stop maintains to completion - to escellate to a TERRY STOP would be to pull you out of the vehicle and they NEED reasonable suspicion to do so! Sorry Lance you are wrong on this one

I got arrested for speeding. Not drunk or high. License & insured. They were 50 blocks away when I pulled over. The tow company sold my car 23 days later. I WAS LIVING IN MY VEHICLE FOR A YEAR! I lost everything. I want to sue their asses off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just utter the magic words "I am a traveler." They will instantly bow down, kiss your feet, and profusely apologize for having disturbed your sacred, god-given right not to obey traffic laws.

Wouldn't your first advice be to tell the citizen if whether they feel they are doing anything illegal, or it actually is, to plea The First Amendment Right under The United States Constitution.
Now, after listening to this entire video I hate to assume that you know that you are being very dishonest about what the actual Washington State Laws currently are not to mention the Constitutional rights of All United States citizens,or perhaps you are uneducated of them and with that being said, I would encourage You to educate yourself and instead spread honest advice. I truly hope you find it in your heart to do so. 🙏✌️❤️‍🩹

First Amendment right is freedom of speech. Did you mean Fifth Amendment right which protects you against self incrimination?

Or you can just ask the cop if he wants a drink of your beer and hit your joint! Then for good measure say something awful about his Mom, Sister and Wife! Everything this guy just said is just common since! Be polite and roll your window down! 90% of the time there's a very good reason you got pulled over! Record it and that's why you can go to court!

That doesn't make SENCE at all because how can the PASSENGER get chared with obstruction waling away from the traffic when they have every RIGHT to do so by state law.
