Ruby is great and we provide her with her five daily essential needs: exercise, training, socialization, care and affection. Ruby just turned four and we raised her since she was one and a half. She understands sit, stay, come and down and loves to play.
Question: when she wants to walk somewhere we don’t want to go, how do we train her to move out of her sit? Is this not enough socialization because she wants to explore or she is bored with the route we are walking? Any advice would be helpful, we are new dog handlers and don’t use food reward.

Do you mean during the walks she just sits and does not want to move?

Can I give a dog to much praise to the point that praise becomes non effective.

Yes, Affection can also lose its value when it is shared too much, too often and for no reason. I reserve sharing affection only when my puppy or dog does something that is positive and wanted. Plus, I only share affection after I have provided my dog's other needs which are;exercise, training, socialization and care.
