Continuing to redefine and reinvigorate the sound of trance and progressive music, Grum finally pulls back the curtain on ‘Deep State’, his brand new artist album out now on Anjunabeats.
Reflecting the unsettling times we live in, ‘Deep State’ has moments of light and dark. It’s a showcase of Grum’s ability to craft pitch-black progressive and immersive vocal pop. The 10-track album is a refined take on the current state of progressive trance.
With tinges of classic trance and 90’s rave culture across the record, Grum embraces vintage dance floor ideas in a thoroughly modern way. Acid-edged summer hit ‘Stay’ introduces Natalie Shay to the dance music world, also lending her voice to the anthemic LP closer ‘Afterglow’. ‘Running’ sees Grum partner with the soulful voice of London’s Jinadu, while Dom Youdan muses on the monotony of modern life with ‘Tomorrow’. ‘Home’, featuring Nicole Dash Jones, provides a deeper moment the mix, before the intensity of ‘Genesis’ and ‘Altered State’ take over.

I only have one but dont mind spending on gas as long as the destination is worthy. Which in the PNW the destination usually is🌲🏞

Such a massive release, so many killer tracks, GRUM is totally pioneering deep progressive, this is an absolute joy to listen to!
I came because of the great title, and now the melodies and rhythm have me hooked. Grum shows a great measure of maturity with this release. I love it.

@@generalPWNS I should mention that all 3 of these albums are quite different from each other. Key4050 is raw trance with a pretty minimal, old-school approach. Hydra is also trance but with progressive, ethereal flair. Hope you enjoy at least one of them!

I heard there were issues, he said "Be careful who you work with"
It only "doesn't fit the album" according to some of you because he had to re-tool it since he probably had multiple songs with the person he had a bad collab with (Possibly the singer?)
What took so long was he probably had to add in new songs or remake a few
@@kaydwessie296 One thing I noticed is that normally Anjuna will monetize videos that use their songs but in nearly all cases videos I liked that used that particular song were copyright striked. That seems to add up to someone having some additional ownership.
