I just finished The King and love it! Min ho is charismatic and handsome. This my second kdrama and I’m a new fan now. Each episode had me wanting to watch the next one to see what unfolds. I can’t wait to watch his other movies.
Some Interesting things about the King k-series..though its slow paced story: 1. Hero is phycist & mathematician. 2. Heroine Police detective. 3. Einstein & relativity. 4. Unbelivable parallel universe. 5. Holding the time for 2.17 sec. 6. Explaning 0 as powerful number as it absorbs all the value like black hole. 7. OST titles- Orbit, Gravity, Maze. This is new storyline in k-dramas ever. Let's wait whether its boring or interesting. Mobius strip story ∞, never ending story, like infinity. As he saves, himself from his uncle with a stolen ID of Tae-Eul. He is in Time loop to meet her again & again. He'll not die as he's eternal monarch.
All the sci fi elements makes the drama more interesting. K drama is no longer about car crash, memory loss & incurable diseases. Lee Min-ho looks more matured after military services but a bit cocky in the drama. He didn't catch my eyes at all when he was in Inheritors and Legend of the Blue Sea. This drama wasn't a big hit in Korea because the slow paced story line starting from episode 7 drew audiences away.
