      @@RoseEnsembleWell, you could show up at a shape note convention sometime, where people from all over the U.S. come together to sing from the Sacred Harp or Shenandoah Harmony. It would not be a concert but at least we'd get to see you. (And you might get to sing a song or two at the break or the end, or maybe at the Saturday night party.) But, yes. there is a hole in the artistic fabric of this town without the Rose Ensemble.

    As is true about their outfits, the music is unadorned. Doesn't need it.
    Plenty spiritual, don't you think?

      "Adorned music" is part of the problem with music today. If the music is good, no adornment is needed.

    Beautiful!! (And I can't help but hope that just once in rehearsal, one of the singers standing on Jordan's right stepped around to his left just before singing "on the other side of Jordan hallelujah". )
