Billy Beane would’ve won at least one world series in Oakland if he’d had an owner who was willing to spend to keep talent + add talent. Instead, he had to deal with 2-3 year contention windows before having to trade everyone away. The whole concept of moneyball and analytics was born out of a team executive having to find creative ways to circumvent cheap ownership. So many people deliberately miss this part lol.
Hi Video Team. Can we get more group shots? It must be hard to switch camera feeds quickly when so many people have a mic. The many off-mic contributions and tight-window jokes make the show what it is, but it's kinda frustrating when the camera is on one face when there is an A-B-C conversation happening between with other cast members. Otherwise, you're doing a fantastic job.
I've been an Oakland fan my whole life. It does really damn suck losing your teams, multiple times. It is possibly why I've lost that love of sport that I see on this show. Thanks for this episode especially.
As a Yankees fan they have always been my 2nd favorite team since around 2012. Remember really falling in love with them back during the back to back divisional series against the Tigers. Where Sonny Gray became my favorite pitcher in Baseball watching him duel against Verlander and Donaldson becoming one of my favorite hitters in the league. Which is why it broke my heart when Sonny came to the Yankees and struggled heavily and hurt even more when as soon as he left he became an ace again. Same with Donaldson who hasn't been great as a Yankee although been pretty good this year since coming back from injury. I know it's not in Oakland but you still have the San Jose Sharks in that general area. Which are my favorite hockey team although they do suck right now.
For me it might be that sports are fun to play and watch as a kid... but as an adult, rooting for some other adult you don't know for no reason in a meaningless game seems silly....you see all the seams, and it makes it kind of gross and unwatchable
STOP IT! A"s stadium is condemned ffs... Not going to games there doesn't mean won't go, & this year it was a boycott of an owner who has sucked millions out of the franchise with zero investment 🙄 Be smarter
Epic Interview with Ken Jennings...but I think I want the audible version of his book with Meadowlark Media reading every single Top 💯 with production 🎉. I mean the dude did years of research and landed on Field Of Dreams lol...if that's not The Show idk what is 😂😂😂
Oakland fans are deeply loyal and deserve better than to have their fandom taken for granted. I don't know about the availability of land for a potential stadium but those fans deserve a team to cheer for.
Pretty bad take about the attendance. The ownership has traded every player that has developed for years. Fun fact. 1989 A’s won the World Series with a then record payroll of $33m. This years opening day pay roll was $30m. That’s right, in 34 years they have shrunk the payroll.
Disappointing that you are perpetuating the myth that Oakland A's games attendance has been historically abysmal. Damon Amendolara of CBS Sports Radio provided much better, comprehensive, WELL-RESEARCHED numbers about the attendance at the Coliseum which contradict this myth. Also, talking about the low attendance without talking about how the owner has intentionally engineered this is a disservice to all of us in Oakland.
How much times change from Oaktown gettin 4million n 90 wit da Giants n da thousands. But even n 2000 wit a new Pac Bell A's still won mo games n playoff games same as next 4 yrs even though SF made WS
Get rid of Amin. Or threaten to fire him. He's gotten that annoying. Also, glad the Jessica is also leaving, and some new Lady... barely on the show. You know what, you guy's are nailing it. Skip Bayless and Cowerd sky's the limit.
Lmao Tony saying Ten-Hundred almost kilt me. 🤣🤣

"I'm clutch" 😂
Salute to my brother Tony always keeping it 10💯. 🫡

Great shout by Mike talking about the Plaxico Burress jersey.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah a top tier joke
Wow Amin just wow
Finish it out!! 😂❤ Hardest I've laughed in a long time! ❤❤ Great Set!!🎉
Knew very little of Ken Jennings going into that appearance. He was actually a great guest & waaaay better than I'd anticipated 👏👏
"What is H&R Block?"

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow Dan and Stu finally acknowledged that Mike never shuts up when their names are on the show, we're making progress

10 Hundred Day Tony
Mike Ryan's face lighting up as he's lining up the Plaxico joke he came up with 10 segments ago
"Also...who built the pyramids will shock you..."
"They had wi-fi."
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Facts 💯 real hoppers know
Had to be a bit that Dan sends Tony on “10 hundred” but not Jess on “Pre-SAT”. Two Americas
I was at the A’s game they had the owners face in all the urinals so we could piss on him

Root for Miami teams, we'll never do you like that...but we will drop championship game 5s back to back once in a while.
I really hope, somehow, you guys get to keep the A’s. So much great history.
@@lukelyons4099Thanks from an Oaktown Bizz lifer!! 1-Luv

Love dogs but don’t dress em up for fun. They aren’t dolls. Jeebus, leave the poor dogs alone

2020 = no fans short season. 2021 = pod seating because of covid. So only 2022 did they start not showing up.

The thing about those 1,000,000 pennies found in that house is that they are pre-WWII copper pennies. The value is roughly $1 million.
Also, you all are crazy. I'm so tight with money that I carry a small coin purse.
I love you ten hundred.
Here's the deal Dan, everyone you interview hates your grief eating.

Ten Hundred Day Tony
amin is the best person on the show by far
You have take back the quarters
needs more Charlotte
Did Dan expect Sajak to have a second 41st season? Nyuck nyuck nyuck.
The show is called Undisputed. That’s a fine
Amin is such an ass. I love him.
Don't know if other listeners do this but whenever something cringe is said; out loud I say "go to the penalty box" as if I'm there. 😑🤷🏽♂️
You sell those million Pennies for $15,000 to the Cote’s and let them sort through it for rare coins
Ken mannerisms while talking are HIGHLY similar to those of Robert California in The Office.
Mike Ryan Ruiz is an entertainer, but a bit more of a troll 😂

Heat in 7!
0:39 splash
Dallas Braden looks like Dr Teeth from the muppets band
As somebody who loves Dan and WIll Arnett, this is sooo funny but also sad
18:58 amene so confidently wrong lol... gene was the private eye, bot the one armed man.
Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike! What day is it Mike? You proud boy you!
Ten hundred 😂😂😂
☝🏾. Pennies are made of copper, right?
Ken hated Stu 😂
Amin with zero contrition lol. That's a personality best digested in small doses.
This is the go to line up. Please don't let Chris back
Nice of all those A's fans to show up to the stadium for the first time in a decade.
Get rid of Amin. Or threaten to fire him. He's gotten that annoying. Also, glad the Jessica is also leaving, and some new Lady... barely on the show. You know what, you guy's are nailing it. Skip Bayless and Cowerd sky's the limit.
I like Amin when he talks basketball but i dont think he is funny at all!
Tell Ken Jennings to go visit Art Briles 👹👹👹
Omg Amin. This is such a terrible segment. Not sure what’s worse, the impressions or mike just talking and talking and interrupting everyone.
How does Dan stand either one of them? Must be related in some way
NBA is over why is amin still here?dude is as bad as greg cote
Greg is the worst.
10 Hundred Day Tony
