The window vents look like a nice addition, and nice looking water where the shedding Big Horn were and at the lunch spot:) Excellent editing leaving the dunk in;) MMMmmmmm samosas ...
Fly Fish vents may be helpful but have only used a few times. Lunch spot was great and went back to same area following week. Thought it might be a great spot for you! And yes, a stop for samosas would be required!🚐
Simply Stunning!- We are off on our tour of France next weekend, Brittany,Gironde, Limousin and The Rhône, we are staying on a Vineyard in the Gironde, the area is famous for Bordeaux Wine. I’ll ping you over some pics as we travel to give you a flavour, I expect you may be interested in the wines😁🍷
I sure liked it at the Seton Lake camp spot when l was there a couple weekends ago. Be sure to check out that fantastic bakery in Lillooet next time. They make the most incredible sourdough donuts only on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Their maple bacon is to die for.
If it is Abundance bakery yes we enjoy, but was closed on Sunday! Now that you have referenced the donuts we are certainly going to have to return! It would have been fun if we had been there at the same time!
That was a great video! You inspire us to check out what is up there. A suggestion would be to maybe check out Sun Peaks near Kamloops. During the summer they have a few RV sites and lots to very interesting hiking around the mountain and resort. That place would add to your beautiful video photography library.
Hi Guys! Have been busy catching up with your videos lately -Do the window visors make the van noticeably cooler? They look great in theory- will be interested to hear your view at the end of the summer. Quick comment on older video - thanks for posting the dewinterization vlog. Don’t even own a camper van yet, but truly appreciated the the real life detail! As always, much love to Precious- Best, Betsey P.
Hi Elizabeth, Precious sends her thanks ❤️. We can’t say the window inserts help a lot as we haven’t used them often yet. Perhaps as you note by end of summer. Main reason to purchase for us was allow us leave to windows open a bit when it may actually rain. In our Zion our windows open to the side, so if we leave open when asleep or if away from van we are always worried we may get a lot of rain inside. These should help with that and help the van stay cooler if we have the fan running. Thanks for the comments and glad you find the videos helpful!
I love your videos. I also really like to see Precious when she travels with you. Where do you keep her litter box? We will be taking delivery of our Class B van and traveling with our “senior" cat next month. Any advice you have for keeping our elderly cat comfortable would be very welcome.. Thank you.
Thank you and so glad you enjoy! ❤️🚐. We keep the litter box in the bathroom and simply leave the door open when we stop...works well, but if we ever have a shower (usually use external shower or campsite showers) we have to move it. It is only a few inches high so that Precious can get in and out easily...she has arthritis in her hips. A few tips for a senior cat; we stop every 90 minutes to,let her out of her carrier so she can use washroom, stretch a bit and have a bit to eat (truthfully let’s us do the same). Also, class b vans (our ours anyway) can get cold ...usually the floor is several degrees cooler than where you sit or near the roof, so we have a small heating pad for Precious..it runs off our inverter and doesn’t use much power, but we also a have battery version that we can run off small portable chargers. Put it under a few towels so not too warm for her. We also keep the van around 70f if we can. Of course, in summer we just ensure the van doesn’t get too hot ..open windows and roof fan usually work for us but cautious in really warm weather. Last, due to,her hips we have a set of steps to,let her climb up to her bed (on the sofa)...also lets her climb up on the sofa at home. It is a 3 step one that we picked up on Amazon and is made of spongy foam. All works for her it seems. If any other questions, please send us an email at hikenrv@gmail.com and if we can help we will. Congratulations on the new van🎉..wishing you safe travels and great adventures!
Thanks for the question. Likely a few vendors but we purchased online from Eurocampers. They are out of Missouri but for some reason we can’t get the link to post here.
It’s a Packraft so it folks down to about the size a 2 person backpacking tent (and weighs roughly 8lbs). Paddle collapses into 4 pieces, so all fits nicely in van. We usually keep all in a backpack in the van (either under the bed or in the bathroom when it in use), but it is small enough we could store separately in back if we wanted.

Trust me … you are NOT the only person to take an impromptu bath while getting out of a kayak!
Thank you for that! A least the water was warm!
This is what I needed in this odd period. I really enjoy the past of your video. Here in Montreal, I am stuck between work (Yes) and home.
Thank you for your kind comments! We realize it's a tough time in Quebec - please stay safe and well.

@@hikenrv yes, wouldn't that have been remarkable? You came in.a few days after l left.
Beautiful scenery; thanks for sharing. I wouldn't care for temps above 30 though. Especially for hiking.
Yes, above 30 would be a challenge, hence heading out in the morning! Still, the humidity there is very low overall. Thanks for the comment🚐
Gotta get going....so many beautiful spots in our province....thanks for another super video.
Yes, get out there 🏔🌲🌞. Thanks for the comment! 🚐
Thanks for sharing always enjoy your videos! That was one of the best free camp site I have seen, it looked well taken care of.
It is nice; potable water, clean and new pit toilets and also an on site caretaker who comes by. Thank you BC Hydro!

No clue why the question came up crossed out!

Would you share the name and where you obtained the window screens for the promaster?
Thanks for the question. Likely a few vendors but we purchased online from Eurocampers. They are out of Missouri but for some reason we can’t get the link to post here.
Where did you pack your kayak and paddles in the Zion?
