I've got a 2009 SL550 with AMG package. Car has less than 18k miles.
I've taken off my wiper blades on my cars. My cars are garage kept. My daily driver(2009 Sonata) has Rain X Latitude wiper blades that have lasted me for over ten years. I keep all the wiper blades properly "lubed" with 100% silicone. The Sonata has rubber fuel lines(bout an inch long) at the end of the wiper blade posts when the blades are off the car. The SL550 has folded up shop towels at the end of the wiper blade posts. I live in south Texas by the coast and it rarely rains here. I keep an eye on my weather channel app as well.
