I went into sandbox mode and when I destroyed the hive, it respawned. I saw a Reddit post mentioning the same. 🤷🏼♂️ Maybe for now you can't completely get rid of them. Might be something in a later patch. I'm waiting for others to get that far to see. Was interesting to hear in this that it did go away

Yes! It took a flew fly-bys to clear out all their ships, but it can be done.
