Great video, Really enjoyed. Might give this a go myself as I'm looking for content ideas (I'll credit you, obviously). Yeah the oyster rule beyond West Drayton is certainly one that catches people out. All the barriers between Iver and Reading are only configured for Contactless and just throw up an error code on the barrier if you try to touch any form of Oyster (including Staff ones, which are perfectly valid all the way out to Reading, but just have to be shown to GWR gateline staff!)
@Gerry McNally oh right I thought he got charged max fare or something by the way he way saying got told off. Maybe an officer told him off or something
@@FMP346 ah thanks. I hope they implement oyster to a wider area soon. I know how the 4-bit system works but they should upgrade it as soon as they can
I willingly went to birmingham for university. It is a fantastic city, I’ll have none of your slander. Come visit and you’ll see what I mean 😊 or don’t, the rest of us can all enjoy birmingham on our own 😅
Nice Video! This channel is underrated. Good editing skills.

"sorry to any rickmansworth enjoyers" 😂

6:10 so what actually happens if you try to use oyster on the DfT fared bits of the Elizabeth line?

@@Ro99 Yep, I was charged about £12 and the ticket officer told me off. Definitely learnt my lesson lmao
