kinda don't get it like highschool kinda sucked ass and I had friends and shit but they weren't good? no one's perfect and all that but at times it felt like i befriended 3 real people and a dozen cardboard cutouts that i exchanged lines with on a semi daily basis?
Now that i've passed I try to talk to the genuine ones but its almost rarely led to remises on the highschool years, normally it's on memorized made past then?
@@phoenixgods1 I think it's that people want to believe there is a highschool out there that is all sunshine and rainbows. Most people had great times strewn throughout, but wouldn't it be awesome if it was like that all the time? That kind of deal. Just like how the medieval times were most likely okayish to hellish throughout, but certain events were sweet.
@@Jameston Well, the reason it's so big in Japan, is after you leave school, a lot of people get into a very hard work structure. Where they rarely sleep, rarely see their families(if they have any, since a lot of men and women can't afford the time to put romance over their career).
And the pressure from how overworked people are in Japan, leads to a lot of suicide. I remember a story of one girl, who was great in school, best grades, loved by the teachers.
Got to work, she worked herself to the bone, only to be mocked by her boss for not being able to maintain her appearance, and be overworked. It got to her, and she killed herself. Happens a lot, men and women who can't handle the intense grind, and just end it all.
So, the country has a huge fond memory for highschool, where they were free, and had their whole lives ahead of them. Before the intense work ethic of Japan, ground them down, or in worst case scenarios, broke them.

I myself lucked out. I got Smash 4 for 3DS, and there just so happened to be a lunch table where like 6-8 other guys played the game on a daily basis. Still friends with a bunch of them, and one even picked out parts and built my new PC for me.
You just gotta find that group of guys, or even put one together yourself. It is simultaneously very hard, and not difficult at all.

I swear that this song sounds way older than it should be. Ken Ashcorp, Mica Caldito. One of the few musical Anime/fandom UA-cam artists that REALLY can capture Nostalgic moments through sound. From what I've known so far about a game we never got to have, the lyrics are so perfect in describing what you will be in for. Capturing Dragons in love!
