I do NOT attend these events to be held hostage by some motor-mouth announcer playing insane music drowning out the primary reason for being there. The only 'sound' one can hear is his monotonous droning about trivia no one wants to listen to, covering up the sounds we can to hear and planes we came to view. I'm there to see the wonderful creations built by true artisans of the genre - to watch them fly and dance in the sky, propelled by incredible engines never before available to any of us in this hobby. Why do event promoters insist on hiring people like this? I've overheard attendees complaining about such announcers, yet no on does anything about it.
Exactly, I walked away from an air show because of the crap coming out of a sound system, jabbering idiot disc jockeys who make everything sound like a BBC yooof childrens show.

Without having scrolled down through all the comments, you DO know the airplane is named "RARE BEAR" and NOT "REAR BEAR" RIGHT?!?
Lyle Shelton would be a little bit perturbed with the misspelled name,.especially given ALL the Wins the aircraft and pilots have won over the years while flying in the Reno Air Races and all.
Having seen this aircraft up close and personal, I can attest to its speed and beauty!

You might have a look at my playlist of Air Racers. There are videos of different planes and different engines.
It is fantastic no doubt. But the engine noise is drowned out by the prop noise. A different prop should be tried. Prop noise is actually annoying and a sign of inefficiency.
Easy enough to change props

I have this same model with an os 95. In it .looking at this it's not big enough . Had it some time but not flown yet . Fingers crossed
So much better being there in person video can't really capture what its like.

Thanks, I am subscribed to you and have noticed that you have no "slope soaring" Sailplane videos and lots of German friends that are wild about Sailplanes too. I Don't like to push my videos but you might check my site for Sailplanes; I learned how to do "Harrier Rolls" with a Le Fish Sailplane (I'm no slouch hint). I have other vids too that I've got to figure that Europeans just might well appreciate even though I'm way old school. Just FYI and thanks for all of your great videos. Love that Bearcat, my friend has an identical one that I'll be test flying for him soon. He bought it built as a fricken electric but I'm sure he'll change that! Thanks again my friend!
