Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for this video and the two that follow. I have been sewing every day for six weeks with my Viking 230, and it has not been serviced professionally in more than 10 years. It was misbehaving all the time and slowing me down. I was able to follow your videos exactly and take apart my machine to clean and oil it. I was able to reassemble it and there were no parts left over ;-) It sounds completely different now and runs so smoothly. Thank you again.

Присоединяюсь! Разборка, смазка и сборка - это очень хорошо. Но хотелось бы знать где можно подстроить высоту подъёма транспортировочных зубьев и положение иглы по центру...
@@user-zn9cs5fq1p высоту зубчатой рейки можно изменить регулятором давления лапки слева, если повернуть его на самое начало ниже единицы. Тогда можно делать штопку, вышивку в свободно- ходовой технике.

Я поздно нашла это видео в поисках инструкции к этой машинке. Мне нужна на русском или немецком языке. По-английски не понимаю.
At 0:50 I have an old 320 Electronic. There (when you picked out the black metal) it has a screw that will not come out. So there was as long as I could go 😂

I have three machines from this Viking line. Two of them have a problem where the thread bunches at the bottom of what I am sewing. The problem somewhat improves when I turn the thread tension up all of the way, but it's still not quite right. I tried swapping the thread tension units with the machine that does work, but it didn't help. The machines are clean and lubed.
Do you have any idea what could be wrong?
I should note that on two of these machines, I found a very small spring in each (1" long, 1/8" wide). In one machine that I took apart, the spring had fallen off from somewhere and fell into the base. On another machine, it was mangled and lodged behind the stitch length dial. However, on the one with the spring sitting in the base, it sews fine.
I cannot find a small spring like this on the third machine.
Sorry for all of the questions, but I haven't been able to find any information on these machines other than in your videos; I feel like you are my only hope!
The tension of the upper and lower threads is essential for proper sewing of the machine,
check the tension condition and the lower thread.
Did you solve the problem? Mine does something similar. It is sewing fine for 30 seconds straight but then in tangels up. I suspect the "stretching hook" (don't know its real name) doesn't move upwards at the right moment so there is a lot of thread slack once the needle start to move upwards. Possibly mechanically out-of-sync?
Solved, it just needed hook timing adjustment (i.e. move the needle rod downwards one millimeter) and 0.5mm shortening of the zig-zag pullrod. Now it works perfectly for the first time ever 😁
still cant see how to change the stitches. Light is very bad on the video. Can you please explain in English?
I will make a higher quality video when I buy better equipment, a quality camera and lighting, it is too expensive for me for now. 😐

Have you looked to see if the gear on the rotating hook is correct ,?
If it is partially or completely damaged, replacement is the only solution.
It's a complex job and don't try to do it, I don't have the conditions to make a new video clip for now, my recording equipment is very modest. Nonsense goes best on UA-cam and few people watch serious videos, if I earned enough I might buy good equipment, for now I'm far from it. Greetings.

The thing is that I have a problem with bobbin it sits to tight after I assembled everything and when I try to pick up the thread, the thread get stuck.

It is a screw to adjust the tension of the lower thread. The tension of the lower thread should be very small.

Non ho istruzioni in italiano, non mi è chiaro come si possa avere un problema con la sostituzione della lampadina, è molto semplice. ??
Scollegare dalla tensione la macchina per cucire, premere la lampadina verso l'alto e ruotarla verso sinistra, rimuovere la lampadina e installarne una nuova.
