Well this one took a while! Firstly, apologies about the slightly lower camera quality of this one. I was having troubles with my usual camera so I used my phone instead and only after recording and starting to put the videos together did I realise there were some blurring issues.
This was such a fun one to learn and to play. I've loved this song since I was a kid and I honestly never thought a day would come where I'd be able to play this solo all the way through. Thanks for watching!

Training those large muscle groups to do these intricate movements is amazing.

@Nostalgia For Infinity I definitely gave up many times. It just never clicked for me. I think the saying is I got a tin ear. Now I'm old and I have arthritis and a tin ear. Lo!
The extra precision this takes to be unable to palm mute while controlling volume consistency and tone without even touching the other strings.. non-dominant hand, too? Amazing.
he has that thing on first fret to help with muting the strings that are not played

Dude, first to state the elephant in the room, you're obviously overcoming an obstacle that would've made most people not even consider trying to play guitar, but you're down right rocking it! Bro, I've been working on different ways of blending Felder's first half of the solo with Walsh's second half and I think you've got the best take I've seen on blending the 2 and getting all those classic licks. I'm going to watch you a few more times and do it your way. I'm the only lead player in the band and we've been wanting to crush this one and thanks to you I'll be able to do both iconic parts, also I throw in the acoustic solo sometimes after the electric solo to lengthen out the jam and it sounds wonderful overdriven and screaming. Was setting up a good wrapping machine, heard someone call my name, looked up just as left hand was feeding the cellophane wrap into the counter rotating jaws and then heard the wrapper jam, thought that's odd, there's nothing on there for it to jam and then looked down and saw it was my fingers just as the jaws freed themselves and started the rotation again. It was karma, as the was no one there to call my name, it didn't hurt until three hours after it happened, I went into shock and threw up and then it throbbed everytime my heart beat for two weeks. It is the most painful thing I've ever experienced, even codeine didn't help. Physio afterwards was excruciating, they pulled off layers of new skin to promote new skin growth, I wouldn't wish this on anybody, no matter what they've done.

Learning eagles solos is one of the biggest measures of guitar craft and talent in my opinion, they aren't fast of highly technical, but they are smooth with country flavour and very difficult to get right.

@@mrstumpmaster totally agree with Michael. When I was a young player (~79/80) soaking everything up, I’d spend hours deconstructing their solos- it trained my ear very well and it elevated all the other styles I played. And that was of course two handed. You just *nailed* it. Hat is off to you.
