  • Under Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) community and nontransient, noncommunity public water systems must develop and submit an inventory to identify the materials of service lines connected to the distribution system regardless of ownership status (for example, where service line ownership is shared, the inventory would include both the portion of the service line owned by the water system and the customer-owned portion of the service line). Systems must submit the initial service line inventory electronically to TCEQ by October 16, 2024. This video shows a portion of the FMT Program’s Lead Service Line Inventory (LSLI) workshop (May 24, 2023). This segment provides an overview of the LCRR which also details additional public health protection measures.
