My sons have been in Lake Tahoe since Friday and it’s on fire. They couldn’t leave until today so I was very stressed all weekend. They finally just left and got out - Praise GOD! When they texted me that they were leaving and safe I was getting in my car. I turned on the radio and this song came on immediately. I cried all the home. Tears of relief and gratitude for my Lord. I just heard this beautiful song on KLOVE while driving and had flashbacks so bad I almost had an accident. Were you in a fire? You must've suffered the same. May I tell you that in the Campfire in Paradise, CA I am ONLY HERE TODAY AS GOD WAS IN MY FRONT SEAT. No kidding, I had the most frightening yet amazing experience. My street was on fire when I left, the fire was roaring up the canyon. There was a 30' wall of flame that you could not see through. I had to drive through it. I panicked, turned on the window wipers, turned on the lights, watched the flames press against the windows, watched the black swirls of black smoke on top of black swirls and thought I was going to burn to death. Then I suddenly became extremely calm when I literally felt the hand of God cup my face. I closed my eyes so I didn't have to see the flames pressing against the windows and concentrated on the sound of my tires on the pavement. I knew I was still on the road. Then I just prayed for God to save my father in law in his car behind me. I can't believe that God would take a moment to save the both of us. I just can't tell you how much this song means to me. Thank you for writing such a tribute to our almighty God. God bless you!
