As an athiest who was once lost this song speaks volumes. I was in tears when I heard this song in church. I went to church on a whim and this was one of the songs they played and it had me in tears as a non believer. Now as a believer I am so thankful that God has a reckless love for me.

When I was 15, I was walking with my dad on a tarred road. It wasn't a busy road and so it was quiet, then suddenly and out of nowhere, a strange boy ,who appeared almost of my age, coming from the front , he looked squarly in my eyes as if he knew me. I was also wondering who he was. When we got closer, he said ,while walking and looking at me ; "Jesus Loves you" . Well , I only said 'thank you' . But at that time I didn't realize the strength in the words or what kind of love it was and how the words would impact my life forever. Whenever am down or r through difficult,I just remember those words. The words are my sources of strength and encouragement. But till now I don't understand what I did to deserve it or why a soul like me should be loved. Mostly, the more I get to know more about God, the more I realize what the stranger meant,and I normally shed tears , whenever I remember the words. I will never forget that encounter 😭😭😭
I used to be a occultist, I did bad things not only upon my self but others.. then one day in a way I can’t even explain with words Jesus dove in and pulled me out of darkness the next day after I professed him as my lord and savior it was like hundreds of pounds were taking from my shoulders its amazing. Praise the lord Jesus Christ forever and ever! He’s coming back! Sooner then ever! Amen.
I heard this song in church today. It brought tears to my eyes. God has brought me through so much, and I haven't always gave Him the glory. Without Him I am nothing. I have overcome death, divorce, mental/emotional abuse,homelessness, and unemployment. I ran from Him, and kept running towards me. God never left my side. I am so grateful, humble, and blessed.

Im getting baptized next sunday im going all in for my faith I chose God and Jesus because when I was dealing with all this depression and anxiety and bullying in school and my grandma got cancer and she passed away in the year later my aunt got cancer and she passed away in it just felt like the world was ending and I didn't want to be here and I didn't and I tried to commit suicide and every time I failed and had tried eight more times but one time I tried the very last time and it was like this message came from heaven and God himself told me that this wasn't how life was supposed to be that everything was going to be okay then I felt this presence of God himself right there beside me holding my hand and giving me strength to fight depression and a self harm addiction and suicidal thoughts and all the stuff that was bound to come but it's okay now because I believe in God I believe in Jesus and that they give me the strength to get up when I have no fight in me when I have nothing left to give I still get up and I do what I'm supposed to do and be a good person and live this life as I was meant to be. So I'm going on with my faith to show god that I am here with him just as he is here with me hr always has even if i didnt know it and he always will be

I Heard my eldest son singing this song and he challenged me to learn it. Apparently his sunday school teacher taught his class the song. After they learnt it while singing it she began to cry. After learning the song I understand why,God's love is so powerful and consistent that it never changes no matter what we have done. He is such a wonderful shepherd that he leaves the 99 and looks for the one that is lost. I am 13 and I am a Christian and I watched this video and it had me in tears with my hands in the air just praising God,and knowing he shouldn’t love me,but he does and I just broke down crying.
After everything i have done to avoid God, he still talks to me and he still protects me. He still leads me, and still holds me. I have done nothing to deserve our creators attention let alone to have my name known by him, but but i praise him for never forgetting me. Even if things and situations are not on my time but his, and it always works out better than i could have imagined.
Its amazing how our young generation is going to God . Im 14 years old and i was a lukewarm christian for almost 4 years( i became a Christian at 10 years old) but God deserves our full praise and adoration because he i great!! And holy and we shouldn’t be a lukewarm christian because we have to be either cold or warm or else in scripture it says that Jesus will spit us from him mouth. Just because your a Christian doesnt mean you have a free way to heaven. Humble yourselves and follow God. I had one of the most surreal God moments to this song! I'll share it: I went hiking, initially the trail was closed so I got back in my car and drove until I saw a white sign w/ an arrow pointing to another trail. I parked and hiked the new found trail. The entire time I'm listening to Christian songs and praying. I get to the top & start singing to God. Continuously telling God to open my eyes to see & open my ears to hear! I hike back down to where the trail & everyone else was and a lady stops me. She suggested, I go where they came but I told her no, I'm ok I was up there (as I pointed to the top). She was like, we're you the one singing? A bit shocked/embarassed, I said yes. She was like, I was cheering you on. She asked what I was listening to and I told her. She asked if I knew of a certain song & I couldn't put my finger on it. She starts singing it and as I tune in, I notice it's playing in my earbud (in the other ear). I unplug my headphones and let her listen. We stood there overlooking Phoenix AZ as the song played, until it ended. It happen to be this very song! The two of us acknowledged how precious that moment was that we shared and gave all the glory to God. It was BEAUTIFUL! I still didn't know the title, I kept trying to find it but couldnt. A day or two later this very video is suggested & pops across my UA-cam homepage. My faith is very strong but I was and still am in awe & still can't stop listening to it! GOD IS VERY REAL! OH HOW HE LOVES US DESPITE OUR MANY FLAWS! GOD bless & I hope this touches many hearts as it did the three of us who witnessed it firsthand!

I really like this song. I love how this song uses the word reckless to describe God's love. It reminds me that even if I think of myself as worthless or that there would be no benefit for someone to care about me, God will take the risk and give me all his love even if I do not love him in return.

The second thing is that I'm having a church weekend this weekend. So in the church I am talking with my teacher tomorrow is a church party at Saturday. Matthew 18: 12-14 The Parable of the Wandering Sheep, Lord Jesus is always vouching for us, always knocking at our door during our trials and the fact that he will leave the 99 “good And faithful believers” to come and get me the one wandering sheep, is everything! He comes to those who need him most without judgement and with great love. I remember when I became a born again Christian, I started reading the Bible and I was obsessed with this song, still am. I didn’t understand the meaning of “leave the ninety nine” until I cross paths with Matthew 18:12-14, God is a God of wisdom and if you read the Bible he will give you the understanding. I heard this song in church today. It brought tears to my eyes. God has brought me through so much, and I haven't always gave Him the glory. Without Him I am nothing. I have overcome death, divorce, mental/emotional abuse,homelessness, and unemployment. I ran from Him, and kept running towards me. God never left my side. I am so grateful, humble, and blessed.

Im getting baptized next sunday im going all in for my faith I chose God and Jesus because when I was dealing with all this depression and anxiety and bullying in school and my grandma got cancer and she passed away in the year later my aunt got cancer and she passed away in it just felt like the world was ending and I didn't want to be here and I didn't and I tried to commit suicide and every time I failed and had tried eight more times but one time I tried the very last time and it was like this message came from heaven and God himself told me that this wasn't how life was supposed to be that everything was going to be okay then I felt this presence of God himself right there beside me holding my hand and giving me strength to fight depression and a self harm addiction and suicidal thoughts and all the stuff that was bound to come but it's okay now because I believe in God I believe in Jesus and that they give me the strength to get up when I have no fight in me when I have nothing left to give I still get up and I do what I'm supposed to do and be a good person and live this life as I was meant to be. So I'm going on with my faith to show god that I am here with him just as he is here with me hr always has even if i didnt know it and he always will be

I have done nothing to deserve our creators attention let alone to have my name known by him, but but i praise him for never forgetting me. Its amazing how our young generation is going to God . Im 14 years old and i was a lukewarm christian for almost 4 years( i became a Christian at 10 years old) but God deserves our full praise and adoration because he i great!! And holy and we shouldn’t be a lukewarm christian because we have to be either cold or warm or else in scripture it says that Jesus will spit us from him mouth. Just because your a Christian doesnt mean you have a free way to heaven. Humble yourselves and follow God. I had one of the most surreal God moments to this song! I'll share it:
I went hiking, initially the trail was closed so I got back in my car and drove until I saw a white sign w/ an arrow pointing to another trail. I parked and hiked the new found trail. The entire time I'm listening to Christian songs and praying. I get to the top & start singing to God. Continuously telling God to open my eyes to see & open my ears to hear! I hike back down to where the trail & everyone else was and a lady stops me. She suggested, I go where they came but I told her no, I'm ok I was up there (as I pointed to the top). She was like, we're you the one singing? A bit shocked/embarassed, I said yes. She was like, I was cheering you on. She asked what I was listening to and I told her. She asked if I knew of a certain song & I couldn't put my finger on it. She starts singing it and as I tune in, I notice it's playing in my earbud (in the other ear). I unplug my headphones and let her listen. We stood there overlooking Phoenix AZ as the song played, until it ended. It happen to be this very song! The two of us acknowledged how precious that moment was that we shared and gave all the glory to God. It was BEAUTIFUL! I still didn't know the title, I kept trying to find it but couldnt. A day or two later this very video is suggested & pops across my UA-cam homepage. My faith is very strong but I was and still am in awe & still can't stop listening to it!

I really like this song. I love how this song uses the word reckless to describe God's love. It reminds me that even if I think of myself as worthless or that there would be no benefit for someone to care about me, God will take the risk and give me all his love even if I do not love him in return.

Matthew 18: 12-14 The Parable of the Wandering Sheep, Lord Jesus is always vouching for us, always knocking at our door during our trials and the fact that he will leave the 99 “good And faithful believers” to come and get me the one wandering sheep, is everything! He comes to those who need him most without judgement and with great love.
