Watching Adrian Peterson in his prime was the most amazing thing I've ever witnessed. What that man could do was beyond words. The best to ever do it in my opinion. He may not have a ring or all the titles or be number 1 in every rushing statistic, but this guys' mix of speed, agility, strength, and awareness is second to none among RBs. I've never seen a combination like that, ever.

Remarkable story of continuous redemption. But even without the great comebacks, statistically, Adrian's still a 1st ballot HOFer. I put him in the "1st tier" of all-time great running backs with Brown, Sanders, Payton, Dickerson, and Simpson (Campbell, Smith, Tomlinson, Sayers, Davis, and Faulk round out the next tier - roughly in that order).
