I absolutely HATE cleaning my bathroom, so my house doesn't usually clean it all that often but I want to start cleaning it more and seeing you cleaning your bathroom is giving me motivation.
I had the same issue with the shower but in one that’s as big as yours, I would recommend getting a different shower head that’s detachable and has a hose so that you can quickly rinse the whole shower down before you get out each time. It really reduces the amount of soap build up. My mom calls it “giving the shower a shower” before you get out 🤣
She definitely needs a detachable shower head. Every time I finish taking a shower I rinse the tile, the shower curtain, and tub before I get out. It immensely helps with soap and mold buildup. Makes it so much easier to clean too!
For the glass shower: Buy a squeegee! Every time you’re done showering, use it on the glass really quick so water droplets don’t stay behind. Then when you do clean, I like windex or some kind of glass cleaner for the glass itself, and a lime away or some kind of bath cleaner for other areas!
Professional cleaner here! 🙋🏻♀️ Use straight vinegar for glass shower doors/walls. The smell is hard to get used to but it eats away soap scum completely and doesn’t leave any streaks! Happy cleaning!!! 🤗
I have my own cleaning business and the best thing I have ever found to clean glass shower doors is white vinegar. I spray it on thick let it sit while I wash the tiolet and whatnot. Go back and spray lightly again and wipe with a micro fiber cloth.
I came to this video simply because for whatever reason I could not clean today without feeling like someone was cleaning with me and getting inspiration. So I was given this advice for the shower before we moved into our home. I was told to use a water repellent for the shower doors. Squeegee is great for the shower too. Also I was told not to use Windex because it caused damage.
oh my g-d! i used to struggle with the shower thing and literally just dollar tree glass cleaner for the door. get the grime off, rinse it really well then use a standard glass cleaner over it to remove any last little bit of grime or residue. and the microfiber cloth is a MUST
Britney, noticed you have those large builder grade mirrors, you can buy nice molding at home depot or Lowe's and frame them. Makes them look so much better.
For your shower doors after you clean them you can use dishwasher cleaner to out in it then rinse it off. It helps with a barrier to help stay cleaner longer and squeegee them after every shower. Works great! My mom has done this for over 10 years.
Just came across your channel and yes leaving your toiletries out can make your space cluttered but speaking from personal experience I tend to leave certain things out that I know I’m going to use every single day and it definitely helps especially in the mornings when I’m trying to get ready for work and get my daughter ready for school so I totally get where you’re coming from. I used to struggle with my glass shower and then I was like never again! So every time I’m done showering I dry the glass with a microfiber towel immediately. Never had to clean it ever since!
We use a window squeegee thing on the glass after each shower it helps remove any soap residue so when you do a deep clean it’s not as bad. We also have an exhaust fan in our bathrooms to reduce the moisture condensation which causes the mold.
Yeah definately get a squeegee, but for when your cleaning I've seen to use car window cleaner? Makes it sparkle, I cant use this i have a shower curtain
I spray kaboom shower guard on the glass doors after cleaning them. It prevents all the water spots and mildew from building up. I can keep my glass doors from looking dirty for up to 2 weeks
I'm very late to the comments here, but Magic Eraser specifically for the bathroom, on my glass doors and tiles worked amazingly for me against soap scum.
Cilit bang black mould remover will get rid of the black mould! It’s so easy to use, spay, leave on for 15mins and wipe away! It’s so easy! I’m from the UK so it’s pretty easy to get a hold of. Hopefully it is for you as it’s genuinely life changing!

I think when it comes to the stain from the tray, it depends on what the tray is made of. If its metal, it may be rust but if its wood, it may be staining from moistures getting in contact with the stain on the wood.
I have a frameless glass shower door and after every shower, we squeegee the glass and then when I clean the shower, I use that white vinegar and dawn mixture and it cleans the glass and shower tiles really well. I use the same sponge that's in your video.
I’ve cleaned spots with nail polish remover on those counters. There were a few spots I had on my counter that nothing worked. It sounds bad but it worked well. And no it didn’t ruin them. Try the magic eraser also, that also works well.
I'd suggest putting a few small round felt furniture pads under your tray on the counter, so that the tray isn't sitting directly on the counter. There were several good ideas here in the comments on removing the yellow stain.
dawn dish soap gets rid of the body oil and soap scum build up and works so great! also make sure to let the bleach sit on those mold spots. if you have tough stains in your shower/tub use bar keepers friend powder + a magic eraser! also for hard water on shower glass use lysol power x10 toilet cleaner, scrub it in and let it sit for like 15-20 minutes and then rise away!! hope this helps :)
One cup of vinegar hear in the microwave until hot and add 1/4 cup of jet dry and 1/4 cup of Dawn dishwasher liquid. Mix in a spray bottle. I spray at the end of my shower and when I’m done I spray it off. No scrubbing.
Try Bar Keepers Friend for the glass in your shower and for the tile too! it’s the only thing that gets hard water stains off, I usually leave a thick layer on the glass for a couple minutes then wipe clean. Maybe also keep a small squeegee in your shower to wipe the water off the glass before you get out 👍🏼
Mr clean clean freak spray is the best thing for cleaning showers!! I let it sit for a few mins and then go in with the brush in the crevices and a dollar tree brush for the rest of the shower

After you shower, spray on your shower glass-, Rainex like you use on the windshield of a car works amazingly. A professional recommend it to us and it works wonders! I also take a towel and wipe it down each time after a shower. Takes about 20 seconds to wipe the water off too!:) The Rainex makes the water bead up so it it’s so easy to wipe down! My husband and I swear by this methodZ
Wipe down your fixtures after taking a shower, too! I polish mine every time I clean the bathroom and they look brand-new despite being from circa 1991. I also tidy up and wipe the sink area as I go to avoid being overwhelmed later.
Any metal part that touches the countertop will leave yellow stain on the counter top. My kitchen counter top I had the same experience. Around the yellow ring I put the Lysol toilet bowl cleaner and leave it on for 15 min. I also put dawn blue dish soap and scrub and it came right off like magic. Best to remove the tray unless you put those felt sticker underneath your tray.
Try a steam cleaner to clean ur shower. Some of them have a little attachment that has a small little head and it really gets into those nooks and crannies.
I use a squeegee after every shower and when I clean the glass I use a bottle that has a little of the blue dawn dish detergent with vinegar and it has the glass looking new .

Try barkeepers friend on the counter! I have marble and it gets everything out for me!
Try peroxide we use that every day you can get the spray kind at Walmart or Kroger

Regular powder tide, bleach, warm water. Mix it together in a bucket and use an old broom 🧹 to scrub and wash the tub and shower. Works great!
