Love that Jamie’s lately quoting Henry and now callum’s quoting Jamie 😂 This community isn’t the biggest on UA-cam but it’s tight enough where you know your favorite channels are watching what you are!
Honestly it’s when you bait because then the opponent probably wins the matchup whereas if you nuke and they shield, just spend a shield or even none and you will build up another nuke. Either way you win. Either you win the matchup and have grabbed one of the shields, or lost it but grabbed both shields. Srry I practically wrote an essay 😂
QOTD: when they shield a nuke. When you know that all of this energy is gone it hurts so much. At least when they no shield a bait you can still get to the other move
Kind of off topic, but It would be so cool if they introduced stat changing items! Each item could either raise a certain stat or lower it by 1. You could reintroduce cool old items like berserk gene, brick piece, gold leaf etc
Qotd: when I nuke and the rival shields. At least, I got to one-shot a trevenant with a payback with dubwool while shouting “DOES HE RESPECT THE DAMAGE???”. That was a wonderful moment
QOTD: When they shield my nuke, I think "fair enough, good shield usage". When they don't shield my bait and they get hit with something stupid like a Surf vs Giratina-A, I just can't help but feel like the most smooth-brained individual on the planet
Pidgeot probably doesn't nuke as many things but honestly Staraptor probably performs a bit better, at least making it to 2 charged moves against things like Lanturn
QOTD: Definitely throwing nukes. Especially with things like obstagoon throwing hyperbeam or gunk shot Also, just wanted to say I caught a shiny shadow cacnea on my first arlo encounter lol.
QOTD: it is better for the opponent to shield the full send I believe because in the other scenario you only blame yourself after and if you blame yourself and have negative thoughts that makes you not have fun.
QOTD: Having a nuke shielded is pure 💔 you lose most if not all of your energy and the opportunity for the opponent to overfarm can swing the match too far imo.
There are three resources in this game: HP, shields, and energy. Getting a shield on a nuke should always be thought of as a fair outcome, as you're spending energy in exchange for HP or shields. When you're baiting, you're spending a small amount of energy to try to gain a shield. When it doesn't work, you haven't done damage, you haven't won shields, and you still spent energy. It's objectively the worse outcome.
QOTD: unshielded baits are definitely more painful. If the opponent shields a nuke, it looks like a fair trade, but an unshielded bait is just a waste of energy. Also, in the first case, the opponent actively decides to shield a move, while in the second you get that the-opponent-did-nothing-and-I-threw-the-game-with-my-own-hands kind of feeling, which is incredibly frustrating! 🙈
In most cases when you build up that much energy to shield, the nuke is heartbreaking. I don’t agree shielding OK that’s fine. We can build up some more energy shielding the nuke. You’re most likely not going to get to another move and you’re just gonna give them huge farm down
Better to full send and get shielded; it’s the same reason I used to shield endgame charge moves without fail. A wise man once said that “it is a greater shame to lose a battle with a weapon not drawn.
I had a match recently where my Mewtwo, low HP, no shields, had a lot of energy against a Landorus that was very low HP and couldn't get to a Sandsear before getting farmed down, so in comes a Dialga. I was like, GG, I guess, and sent a Focus Blast, and guess what, they didn't shield, and they lost. I could feel the tilt from the opponent, like, wow, there is only one way to lose that match and they somehow found it. How do people not know about Focus Blast from Mewtwo? It's not even a high IQ reason why I have that: I was too cheap to spend two Elite TMs.
100% would rather have my opponent shield a nuke rather than no shielding a bait, which is why I don’t bait much But, it can depend on context and the specific matchup. If the bait move will still do a heavy amount of damage, it might not be so bad
Im literally idiot. After I came back to pogo in August 2023 1st what I did was mass evolving a lot of pidgeys with an lucky egg.... that was surealy old method for XP not very efficient without event....wasted a lot of candies :D
QOTD: baiting and having it called. Not just because I’ve shamed myself and possibly thrown the game, but I also have to live with the fact my actions caused a poor defenceless cat to die.
QOTD: Honestly I find it more painful when I try to call a bait and the opponent full sends a nuke move Idk the two scenarios you put there it’s like. I don’t find them as annoying, but maybe when I full send a nuke and expect them to let them go and they don’t.. like why? 🥲
For April Fool’s Day you should do a video where you copy other PoGo commentators’ styles. Your jamiefinn impression was pretty good!
I second this!
I third this 👀
😂😂😂 lol
👀

Even Henry quoted Jamie yesterday lol
Honestly it’s when you bait because then the opponent probably wins the matchup whereas if you nuke and they shield, just spend a shield or even none and you will build up another nuke. Agreed
Nah the nuke is usually what I need to win and of course they shield it
Also if your baiting you already lost
QOTD: when they shield a nuke. When you know that all of this energy is gone it hurts so much. At least when they no shield a bait you can still get to the other move

No baits on this channel - Jamiefinn
Straight in and straight out!
Qotd: when I nuke and the rival shields. At least, I got to one-shot a trevenant with a payback with dubwool while shouting “DOES HE RESPECT THE DAMAGE???”. That was a wonderful moment
is it better to run sand attack rather than wing attack for staraptor ?
QOTD: When they shield my nuke, I think "fair enough, good shield usage". When they don't shield my bait and they get hit with something stupid like a Surf vs Giratina-A, I just can't help but feel like the most smooth-brained individual on the planet
Jellicrnt
Perfect description 😂
Any takes on the complete, non-shadow version of this team? Asking for a frienemy.
Pidgeot probably doesn't nuke as many things but honestly Staraptor probably performs a bit better, at least making it to 2 charged moves against things like Lanturn
QOTD: Definitely throwing nukes. Especially with things like obstagoon throwing hyperbeam or gunk shot
Also, just wanted to say I caught a shiny shadow cacnea on my first arlo encounter lol.
Cool team. I want to try this with shadow dragonite as safe swap with steel wing, super power, and hurricane.
But why would u run sand attack instead of wing attack
QOTD: When they shield a full nuke. Especially something like sludge wave or blizzard. That's A LOT of energy to lose.
It’s dope when you guys give each other credit too lol. The Jamie fun shout out lol 😆
2:00 ah my favourite lines 😍❤️🔥💥😜
Love your triple shadow video mate, also the jf reference largies!! 🎉
I feel your pain. I built a bad IV Shadow Feraligatr, using a few rare candy plus the TM.
Only to catch a rank 100ish a few hours later. 😂

I like this reasoning!
Can we make sure we're subbed? Been on 29.3k for a while. Keeping my word to help callum get to 30k. Nobody deserves it more than callum.
Seeing Staraptor obliterate that Bastiodon was so satisfying
Where are all the Bastidons????
I cant snease without fighting one. You did pull ALL the lanterns BMETA teams
Don't worry I faced like 10 of them today so you'll see my team that's very weak to Basti overcoming it time & time again!
Bait or Nuke?
Acid Spray users: *neither*
QOTD: unshielded baits are definitely more painful. If the opponent shields a nuke, it looks like a fair trade, but an unshielded bait is just a waste of energy. Especially if it’s a nuke like wild charge and lower your defense or brave bird that’s a easy sheild and win for me
qotd: nuke shielded just because it makes you lose so much energy
Honestly when I bait and opponent shields because I am losing my win con whereas I only double Nuke if I know I’m in a good position to get to both
QOTD: getting a bait called is easily more painful, you at least did force a shield with the nuke.
Qotd: 1000% words when they don’t shield the bait.
Better to full send and get shielded; it’s the same reason I used to shield endgame charge moves without fail. A wise man once said that “it is a greater shame to lose a battle with a weapon not drawn.

LOL Great impression!
Curious to see how Steel Wing Shadow Pidgeot would do in GBL 🤔🤔🤔
Maybe I'll run it on my rank 26 Pidgeot then since I don't want to remove a legacy fast move already
@@CallumOnToast That's what I was thinking!
QOTD: When a nuke gets shielded, since it's generally more energy wasted.
100% would rather have my opponent shield a nuke rather than no shielding a bait, which is why I don’t bait much
But, it can depend on context and the specific matchup. If the bait move will still do a heavy amount of damage, it might not be so bad
Looks like I've to build a shadow pidgeot for me 👀
QOTD: depends, but I’d say shielding the nuke is probably worse (53/47 margins though)
It’s so much more frustrating when they no shield a bait. Top 5 worst feeling
bruh i built a serperior last year and i got a rank 19 a few days ago. wish frenzy plant wasn't a legacy move😂😂😂😂😂
I love triple shadow teams. I ain't got time for long battles..
QOTD: absolutely the no shield bait call - I don’t mind full sending and getting a shield cus at least something positive came out of the situation
I’m surprised aqua tail is hitting most the pokemon for half of there health
Callum is a menace to society
I always found Callumon mid but been really getting used to his commentary but that April Fools commentary sealed the deal
I’m a fan😎👍
QOTD: for me is worse, when oponent calls bait
Qotd:-Idc both r pain in the booty😂
I don’t like the fact when I full send nukes, they Shield. Bc I don’t bait.
Im literally idiot. After I came back to pogo in August 2023 1st what I did was mass evolving a lot of pidgeys with an lucky egg.... that was surealy old method for XP not very efficient without event....wasted a lot of candies :D
Qotd bait and they dont shield because then they always shield the nuke
QOTD: baiting and having it called. Not just because I’ve shamed myself and possibly thrown the game, but I also have to live with the fact my actions caused a poor defenceless cat to die.
QOTD: Neither, the worst is when you try and farm them down and they reach a move at 1hp…
damn that feels bad. Especially when you even went over 100 energy lol
Qotd: nuke shield is more painful coz I don't like baiting
Same either way for question of the day
Qotd #NOBAITSONTHISCHANNEL
Baiting and having the opponent no-shielding, you only bait when you need it
Staraptor has sand attack?! 😅
It hurts more when you bait and they call it
It doesent matter whos bateing or nukeing, normal player dont care, and its always about your net connection😂
Angry Birds video 😂
QOTD: #ImNotBaiting and it sucks getting nukes shielded
My Groudon is 7/6/12 1*
Definitely calling the bait that's terrible feelin
Worse is a bait and no shield.
Jamiefin the goat
Qotd: when they shield the nuke, I don't bait 😂😂
Them calling your bait
Qotd: Def when I bait and it doesn't get blocked. I still haven't found a pidgey 😢
If you would have had wing attack in staraptor you wouldn’t have seen all those Pokémon 😂
qotd Baiting and the person not shielding is way worse
Qotd: the first one
Not a single match was sand attack useful you lost like 3 games not having wing attack, maybe switch it...
Qotd. Getting your bait called is by far more painfull.
#full_send
#jamiefin1415
#imnotbaiting😂
QOTD: Honestly I find it more painful when I try to call a bait and the opponent full sends a nuke move
Idk the two scenarios you put there it’s like. I don’t find them as annoying, but maybe when I full send a nuke and expect them to let them go and they don’t.. like why? 🥲
