Been running a very similar build! While primarily lightning focused, I use glacial bolt when I encounter a pack to block mobs and projectiles, then break with galvanic shards. The shards fork off the ice crystals, killing ice crystals counts for overkill damage on herald of ash, and it gets an ice skill used recently for rising tempest support. Rising tempest can support galvanic shards, does 12% more elemental damage per different elemental skill used recently. Glacial shot into shards means 24% more elemental damage (ice > lightning) Frostbolt also does great single target damage if you give it magnified effect since the ice crystals are packed together and can overlap on a single target. You can also throw in gas grenade with armor shred because gas grenade doesn't require loading another ammunition and technically counts as a fire skill giving the full 36% damage bonus for rising tempest. I usually run this with Plasma Blast with the support to do 50% more damage to broken armor for bosses or single target bursting and guaranteed shock, then into your standard shockburst rounds.
This is a great build man! I’ve been using your other build for cruelty campaign and can’t wait to try this one out! You should do a leveling guide for it as well. Would be super helpful I’m sure like these have been. Keep up the excellent work dude!
Had been using shock burst rounds quite a bit and another guy put me on to galvanic rounds to help with clear. Idk if you know this but there’s a hidden tag with shock burst which makes it unable to apply ailments with the skill. Even with kitoko’s current you cannot apply ailments, otherwise you could shock white mobs with enough added lightning dmg.
New player to the poe world here. I'm still early on in the game, but this type of thing was what I wanted. I may pivot into this with some minor modifications. I was wondering how much defensive nodes would be needed. Thus far I'm early in the campaign and can just glass cannon everything lol. But I know that will end soon enough. Thanks for this, it helps my theory crafting
I got through the campaign with little to no investment into defence lmao. It made the transition to maps a bit rough. So if I had to do it again I would start investing into defence as I was finishing the campaign!
Oh my I can't believe I have missed that!!! Thanks! Something in my mind 100% disassociated 2h nodes with a ranged build since they would not interact with bow builds in POE 1.

Ignore my comment on yohr older video, i see youre using galvinized shots now haha. Means i was on the right track, i hadnt thought to use bow skills to trigger shock, great idea there! Cant wait to retry my build with that
Hey, great video. I’m using a similar build. But I’m wondering how you are able to quickly and consistently apply shock to bosses? That’s the part I can’t seem to get down
Stormcaller arrow is your friend! The second component to it the 'bolt' has a 800% more chance to shock, which makes it very reliable. Make sure you don't have any pierce though or else the arrow will fly through the boss!
Hello, its me again using your build and loving it so far and i happen to come across the kitoko gloves thanks to friends i play with, is there a consideration of using it?
Your build looks amazing. I’m thinking of trying it. I went grenades build but, unfortunately fps drops so low on my ps5 when everything explodes, this seems more easy on particles and effects. In your oppinion - is this better than grenadier build?
I tried grenades early on but wasn't a fan of how little control I felt I had. I preferred a more traditional play style! In terms of what's better I can Def's see this build being kinder to your ps5!
When you click on an uncut skill gem you and select what weapon you want to use the weapon for, or you can click on show all gems at the bottom of the interface and pick from there. Just make sure you have the correct weapon to use the skill!
Those gloves allow all lightning damage do apply the electrocution status effect, which behaves similarly to a stun. Shock is an ailment which makes the target take more damage. Not all lighting damage can build up electrocution so people have solved this by running those unique gloves. I don't have the gear to run those gloves so I am using Electrocuting arrow as my one to build up electrocution!
I use Voltaic Mark and electrocuting arrow and stormcaller arrow. These are bow skills! If you would like some more depth into how this works with my build I linked the earlier guide I did in the description.
Why don't you use Kitoko gloves to help build electrocution? These gloves allow lightning damage from hits to build electrocution which I think would remove the need for electrocuting arrow.
@@billytalentrocks345Shockburst round works with Electrocution as well, so using Kitoko gloves is a decent idea especially if you can afford the loss of some regular gloves stats making it so High Velo can trigger the electrocution with infusion

I stopped using it because as mobs got more lethal and density went up I felt it got less effective. But only a little. Keep using it if you are liking it!
It is rough for everyone early on! Unfortunately, I am not sure what the best options are for a Storm Weaver at that level, sorry. I would start by looking if anyone has an Indepth spark or arc build that might help?
My skill tree is probably not optimised! I went with what I thought was best and what works for me currently. I may try a variation that utilises those nodes in the future :)
So i tested some shit, and if i am not wrong pure evasion nodes are not working with iron reflexes. They DO NOT apply to your evasion before its converted to armor. Thus some very questionable decisions on skill tree. CON of the build is low survive ability. U still can get oneshotted in fight with some rares and especially some bosses. Also fokin skeletons with reflect shield are 3-shot you, and u are usually shot so fast that meeting one of them is almost guaranteed death...i am planning to try sorcery ward since i managed to stack 4,5k armor. Should add me like 2k flat hp that regenerate on its own...and in the final end i offer you to use Kitoko's current uniq gloves as a defensive layer, u can also use electrocuting arrow for bosses but ots just a suggestion.
As far as i could say its not reliable to use shard scavenger on that build, better go for herald of ash but thats IMHO. Also you can drop fork on galvanic shards, it dont rly do much, all the trash dies almost instantly anyways.
For those who has questions - u use storm called arrow only for uniq or rly chonky rares. Voltaic mark is not necessary to honest, the buff is cool but its only 8 sec cd idk, i dont like it. Use shock related nodes on passive tree while using a bow.(Weapon specialization)
You are correct pure evasion nodes do not work with Iron Reflexes. I think I've done my best to only grab hybrid nodes. The skill tree Def's isn't optimised and 100% test yourself and share your findings! Keep trying to stack more armour. I am at 10k and I am starting to feel Phys hits on t12 maps.
Pretty sure shard scavenger doesn't do anything with the build sadly. Might be worthwhile to replace with Wind Dancer if you wanted more survivability.
I had a feeling! Nothing states that it consumes shock but I felt there may have been some hidden interaction somewhere that was letting shard scavenger trigger. I'll replace it when I can work something else in!
i assume this is not a crit build right ? , there's a talent your shots will never miss but u dont make any critical dmg , do u think thats a good one for this build ? Resolute Technique
