You know what, I can totally imagine Crow and Becky using Music to take over the world, as seeing how musically they are.
I know Mayapple said she's not interested in Crow, but I can't help but pair them anyway. One thing's for sure, whether it's love or friendship, Becky does not like it, especially when it corrupts her boss with goodness.

you know i wouldn't mind a nefarious 2 game.
mabe where the syndicate of malice is taken down by a new villain who is wanting to get rid of compition and now it is up to a reluctant crow to gather both heroes and villains together to stop this new mighty villain and his nearly invincible army.
it would make a good game and allow a game that is double what the first game was.
i could imagine crow would try to fight this new villan himself first only to fail and realize that there is no other way.
Bro I was thinking of something exactly like that.
This sounds like a great concept!
maybe crow loses all his powerups trying to fight the new villian
but it would be in character that crow only wants to take the new villian down because he sees him as competition and crow is secretly trying to overthrow the syndicate too because you need to save the backstab for the important moments and since he didnt get the bad ending he still has a backstab saved up also hes capable of getting all the heroes and other villians in one place
New villain shows up and trashes each major hero and villain in each kingdom, and the game starts with Crow trying to take him down and failing.
Crow sets out to unite the defeated villains and overthrow the Ultimate Overlord… and they fail.
Then the union of heroes arrives… and also fails.
The two forces have to reluctantly work together (in an alliance filled with constant witty banter) to vanquish this common enemy.
As soon as the dust settles, the heroes immediately turn on the villains and the team of villains has to work together to counter this sudden but inevitable betrayal.
The princesses (and Malachite) are all disappointed in their respective “heroes” for breaking the truce first, but the villains back up their decision. “We were totally going to stab them in the back anyway, they were just quicker on the draw.”
Epilogue: The status quo is pretty much restored, but now everybody gets together for pizza and poker every other Saturday night.
Gonna be hard to pick between this one or be more chill as my favorite. Great work! I'll certainly blast this out to all the social media's I can.

Hey Mr Hano! One time, while I was Playing Kirby: Planet Robobot (A game I already beat), I pretend that Sword Kirby was Mac and Mecha Knight was Crow! Pretty cool, right?
I love all of Crow's facial expressions. I mean, all the characters looked awesome but I loved Crow the most!!

This animatic made me think about Crow and Mayapple's friendship throughout the game and the free comics (sorry I can't afford to be a patron). Mayapple believe so much to the power of friendship that she calls Crow, her kidnapper for 6 years, as her best friend. In the "It came from the Wa-verse" comics, Crow isn't even denying it anymore.
Now with this animatic, it has shown me what would be the consequences of Crow opening up to his bonds with other people. Whether he admits it or not, the game has shown that he and the other characters have grown on each other. With Mayapple always pushing, always believing in their bond together, Crow is starting to break. This causes friction with other people, particularly Becky and Mack.
Becky, I would understand, she needs her boss to be evil if she wants to achieve her goal. Unlike Crow, she seems far colder, detached and more focused on being evil. I believe she loves the power and control that it gives her. While Crow just wants to be a villain because he believes it's what he's good at.
For Mack, however, I want to roll my eyes at his jealousy. It's like he's been reading all those Mario jokes of why Princess Peach always gets kidnapped. I might have considered his doubts but in the game, Crow and Mayapple never even showed that kind of chemistry that he should be worried about.

Thats true but thanks to this animatic im picturing a scenario were mack and becky work together to ruin crow and mayapple's friendship so becky has her boss and mack has his princess
I think Mack knows that Mayapple is fallung in love with Crow and he's sad because he still lovers Mayapple .. also thanks for the explaining it helped a lot 😄😘😍
I like how you added the song from My little pony equestrian magic into this animantic but still made it sound original to Nefarious. I love it! I could totally envision Crow trying to hypnotize people to take over the world.

I like to think it’s a thing for them at many points. It feels like a love triangle sort of formed in the game between Crow, The Princess and Mack. Crow tries to take over the world, Mack and Crow fight, she ends up distracting or making Crow lose focus and Becky pulls him out and they retreat. She’s Crows weakness basically.

I've been re-watching this over and over simply because it fits so well with the narrative of the games. I almost wouldn't question if this actually happened in story, if I didn't already know where the song came from.

Omg I got a sense of nostalgia rewatching this. I recently remembered that nefarious existed and have fallen down the rabbit hole again. Your animatics just bring so much life to the table and are just as amazing as when I first watched them!!
I just love how both Becky and Mac react to Mayapple dragging Crow away. They’re both disappointed, but they also kinda saw it coming. Mac just tries to focus on the music [being a hero] and let his ex do what she wants while Becky actively separates them.
Got no idea what this is about but I flipping loved, this. There's clearly a story behind this.

This is what i think the story of this is: Crow and Becky kidnap the four artificial princesses from Adept Co., and use them to power their machine, using it to take control over the world populace. When Mack and his friends arrive, this puts a dent in their plans, even more so when Mayapple jumps in. A while after, Crow begins to dance with the princess, with some encouragement from Princess Farrah Day. Both Becky and Mack are discouraged by this exchange, Becky because it slows down their plans, and Mack because he's jealous. When the crowd begins to cheer Crow on, it looks like his days as a villain are numbered. But then, Becky flies in with the Death-Pod, grabs him, and escapes. This shows that Crow could be redeemed from being a villain, and become the hero of the story.

Yeah they would be perfect if I'm the bad guy was actually sung by a girl character so either Becky would probably be the only want to go for that role or I made this animation could go with someone different maybe Mayapple.

I like how this animatic while it follows the Rainbow Rocks song. It somehow... feels like it combines both the good and bad endings of the Nefarious game. Feels like what would have happened if Crow commits to being evil and tries to use the doomsday device and Mack tries stop him like in the bad ending, but also Mayapple stopping Crow and Becky with Crow opening up to the friendship a little like in the good ending. I know that it's not supposed to be like that in this animatic. The setup makes me think about it.
Becky and Crow tryin' ta hypno everybody. Mack And The Leaders Of The World, minus turncoat Farrah, beat'em. I LOVE that Farrah had sided with Crow. Seriously, I need more Farrah chooses Crow. Not personally a fan of the way it finished off but I'd say it was still a neat ending.
I like to think that Becky's controlling Crow as her henchman, and doesn't want to lose him.
i mean.... to be fair, crow did say mayapple had weaponized friendship. its kind of fitting.

I love how Farrah Day stays with Crow. When the artificial princesses break free, she goes to HIS side rather than with the others. But when Mayapple starts "corrupting" him with goodness and friendship, she's STILL right there by his side cheering him along until Becky kidnaps him.
I just beat the game just now and, truth be told, I discovered this song, this particular cover, through you folks and I gotta say...I love it all~! The effort is powerful and charismatic with such whimsical wickedness! It be great to see more NEFARIOUS Animatics, or see the actual comics, or more games, or even a show~

I believe I am one of the few who kinda ship Crow and Mayapple. I see them having a real connection. While Becky and Mack are those characters who are stuck in the old ways and refuse to open up to the future.
