The stuff at base is also part of the game so I don't mind you doing that. Skipping content to rush the ending isn't required. Then again I'm the type to watch grinding episodes.
Fair to know. But I often see side missions being ones that are on top of the main missions. It is a toss up on if the side missions are needed, or are just to additive to the main missions.
@@fadepanther6224 sometimes it is just for extra story, but I've noticed that some really good equipment is hidden in the side missions in other XCOM games.

Good to know. And Yeah, these base events are more than just "Filler" content to me. You can pick to do it or not.
@@fadepanther6224 Even the base stuff that would fall under filler is still interesting and adds to the game.
Agreed! I know some other game's filler things being... far less meaningful.
@@fadepanther6224 Like a high encounter rate/bad level design/cryptic hints on where to go next? ;p
mhm.... -_-
You definitely want to do side missions before main where you can. It generally prepared you for later missions better than skipping them

Oh? That's awesome to know. ^^ Just incase I end up playing an XCOM game other than this one for the channel. XD
