  • Some MODS will surprise you!
I wanted a 35 liter easy to use outdoor backpack. I found the LK 35 the perfect backpack to use and modify.
I did some modifications and I think are different than most mods I have seen.
Use from it what you like and enjoy the outdoors!
    Greetings Wim

Nice mods! I have de LK35 myself, still looking for some side pouches, yours look a great option. Did swap out the hipbeld for a dutch army bergan one. Nice and padded.

Sounds great, I know people use pouches from a Swedish carrying system. The pouches are the same canvas and colour. You can find a lot of video's with those pouches (military Swedish webbing). I like to use what I have lying around. I like the backpack very much now. Functional and tailor made for my needs.....

I like the side pouches and would like to know how easy that was but am not keen on cutting the frame up or replacing nylon with leather. It was too hard finding one of these in the first place to take it apart. I have added hip cushioning and more straps in the frame but it is nothing too severe.
If I had 2 maybe I would be more experimental. 😁

Hi, I get that. I also like to keep things as original as possible. However I found I was not using the bag as it was. So I decided to take the gamble and went modifying. The side pouches are easy to remove from the dutch pack, just cut the stitches. Stitching them on was a little hard. The material is thick and it's hard to stitch in a backpack that's part empty. But with patience it can be done. With a hip belt the backpack is a lot nicer to cary and you can leave the rest as is.
      Enjoy,
      Greetings Wim

@@traveler5898 Yes, I see what you mean. If you are not using it because it is uncomfortable then why not change it. 🎯
