Good video. Sadly I found two in my local Lowes in those little mesh bags that were totally dead. I've bought four others that were near death and so far they are recovering. One tip is to soak them for a while before un-bagging and re-potting as the roots are more fragile when dry. This also helps to distinguish the live green roots from the dead brown roots so you can trim the latter off.
Hi, Rick. This video is from a year ago. We have learned a lot more since then and grown our collection to over 400 plants. Please watch our other videos at shows and events and our interviews with vendors, growers, and experts. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment.
Thanks, Rosana. Again, it was a pleasure meeting you and the others. We look forward to making a video of your collection in March. In the meantime, we'll keep in touch.😊
We love it!!!!. Love Germany. We've never been. We've been to Spain and France, tho. We love the fact that people from different countries watch our videos. Vielen dank 😊.
Hi Cristy, Thanks so much for the compliment. We love viewers like you who take the time to make nice comments. Keep watching, and we'll keep delivering. Viva Cuba Libre. Patria y vida!!!
Sergio- you have awesome finds! I love the part where you had to go back to Lowe’s. It’s like a magnet 🧲 and you always find a reason to check out what they have. Lol. I totally understand that “orchid fever” especially when you can get a good bargain!!
In my environment I would have to hydrate the first ones before repotting. I usually wait a week or two before I repot them, so they get acclimated. However, I’m sure yours will do well as everything grows in Florida. Please do a video to show their progress.
Wow! These tiny babies are so so so cute! But their mature size is so much better! I really should’ve bought that cattleya which still had flowers for 7€(around 8$) Excited for the Encyclia and Dendrobium Aggregatum, Make sure you provide a cool dormant rest with the Dendrobium Nobile for it to flower and exceed considering temperatures in Florida. You should check out Miss Orchid Girl for more tips! Good luck❤❤. (Side note: Cut orchid flower when they are stressed so they can focus all the energy on roots and growth)

@@vickyslikes oh boy! I’ll pack my winter clothes. Lol it’s 90 here.
Yes, it's 76 here in Leesburg. We are 30 minutes away from Apopka. Last night was in the 60s, and the night before in the low 50s.
