Lowlands of Holland

Here’s another old song about a sailor being “pressed” into service. This one gets sent to fight in Holland, and his new bride mourns his going.
There are plenty of versions of this song to be found. Many are haunting and slow, and I like those versions best. I sped it up a bit, so not such a great listening experience, maybe, but it gives the general idea of the song.

Very nice! I generally love slow songs sped up, and fast songs slowed down so this is right up my alley =D
