was a classy farewell to Jonas, so well done to Evergrey. I saw in past day that Evergrey now has a new drummer, Simen Sandnes from the Norwegian band, Shining. After seeing a drum play through on UA-cam he seems to be a beast of drummer. Sad to see Jonas depart as he was a big part of the band, having been involved with the band since he was 17, first as drum tech, then becoming full time drummer in 2003.
I personally think EVERGREY are the BEST band of the last 25 years, brilliant songwriting, unexpected twists and turns and excellent musicianship all round. It was a very classy send off for Jonas Ekdahl an excellent drummer and gracious guy! It hit me hard and lets be honest I don't know him lol! They should be bigger worldwide!
You were absolutely right Evergrey has there own sound. The only way I can describe them is like a modern day Boston when you heard Boston, you know it was them the same with Evergrey. But they’re a great band to See life. and it’s a same Jonas left but he’s left once before and they replaced him. But if you get a chance, check them out live
From the get-go this song hits you right in the gut! Boom, boom, boom. Focusing on the music Iike this one. Video doesn't pull me in; can't make out the lyrics with just one go. But for a wake-up song, this one could fill the bill. Thanks for introducing me (us) to Evergrey. A live show must be a sound explosion. Woke me up for sure! Liked the ending of the video, too! Cool that part, but yikes a member leaving... tough choice for the clip. Thanks, merci, Leigh.

Think it's either "Torn" from 2008 or "Glorious Collision" from 2011, everything since then has been amazing
