I love taking Garen mid when facing akali. Perfect matchup with his silence, sustain, and she can’t hide in her smokescreen for free since I can just E while she’s in there. It’s even better when the akali cries all game in all chat because I didn’t pick a “normal” mid laner AKA a squishy mage for her to one-shot. Edit: Disclaimer: I’m low elo, so while this works for me, it might not work for higher Elos.

ign is like 2 ticks of garen dmg
ghost is potential triple, quad kills etc mid game
